Amazing kerf job!!!
What numbers are you doing now?
I once had 2 XL 15s in a CLK...subs up, port to the driver side at the rear of the trunk and did 51s from 30-55hz...outlaw style with the driver door open. I ran a Stetsom 4k2d at the time.

I always use a 50 hz tone. The higher the frequency, the "harder" your amp is working. A 50 hz is a good realistic frequency to assume daily...

A customer of mine just installed his 15" D2 LVL4 M2's and he has them on a Stetsom 4kd. His LVL4's have the 8 layer alum coil in them.. He said they are taking the power just as good as his old M1 XL 15's did he had a year ago..
Yes Sir!!! The M2 LVL 4 w/ LVL 5 coils take the Stetsom 4k2d like a champ! Basscube and all! I have YET to get them warm, and I think they may be as loud on the meter as my M1 XLs...seriously. They're in a trunk...

not here no way please read the for sale section rules.

Nice amp you have there, Sir! I love my 4k2d.
-
Nasty!! What song are you playing? I know I've heard it before...
-
Looks like a blast! I'd try it.
I guess this is Rollie Fingers version of Ninja Warrior?

You might try a hard reset...? holding the middle button and menu on an ipod classic does it
Do this.
I had to do this just about EVERY time I disconnected/reconnected my iPod from my Eclipse AVN 6600.

Hey hey, KHARPS!
I think I'm actually going to go with 3 FI Q 10s instead. I'd like to have enough space to build this BP "properly" so I think I'm going to scrap it.

Check your wiring at the sub connections. What ohm load is your amp stable at? What ohm load is your sub? Dual 2, dual 4...?
-
Too low of an ohm load is my suggestion as well.
Check your wiring again to make sure...

Well, Ray did help me out somewhat; or Ryan his partner did. I got some measurements and air space dimensions, but I still need help with the port and actual placements of the subs. I've tried to PM him, but I was told he was in a car accident, so I can understand if this is not priority at the moment. The design is exactly what I wanted, so...
Here is what I got so far:
Suggested air space:
Rear Chamber (sub chamber): 3.99cu^ft total (3.612cu^ft net)
Front Chamber (port chamber): 3.06cu^ft total (2.761cu^ft net)
Port: 13.5x2.75x13.5 tuned @ 46Hz

sorry i didnt mean so much of not trusting him but more like not knowing his work kinda thing. my bad.
Yeah, it's all good, buddy. Being that I'm sort'a "noo" I didn't want to get off on the wrong foot with you guys by starting shit, nor did I want to lay down to any engaging comments. No offense on my end as well.
Thanks a lot for all of you guys help and I hope to be more active here from now on to share and recieve information.

Ray is THE SHIT!
Apparently so. He did agree to help me, and I thank him, and you guys for the reinforcement. It really has been tough for me get this in line in a timely manner.
lmao at not trusting ray.You obviously didn't read the thread. I never said anything about not trusting anyone is specific.

Ill bite.
If you dont know my work, then I'd rather not do it for you.
I'm just saying I'd like to see some of the work. You never know who thinks they know what they're doing and don't. This is the internet...
You've got a PM.

OK...some of you may know me from CA and I don't post here much, but come and lurk from time to time.
Anyhow, I need someone to work with me on a bandpass for my 3 12s" and I need to get the design and all TODAY! I'd like the individual who helps me out to be able to run my specs and subs against Winsid or some other program to see where we stand on wave reproduction.
I've got projects in line with my car the next 3 weekends, so this is the only weekend I have to do this for the next month or so.
Who's down to walk with me on this?
$50 will be sent via Paypal, and I'm just looking for a standard 4th order...

No one?

Insane! Looking at all those wires, it's like a visual of all the time spent on this thing.
Steve, do you still run the BassCube? After watching your vids from when you installed it on Youtube I had to get one. It's gotta be one of the best investments I've ever made for my setup.
15 xl's trunk box

That's still really good on your numbers. Are those numbers sealed or outlaw? My car would only do a 46.6 sealed up, but outlaw it really gained.
My box was 6.2 cu. ft NET, and I used one 8" aero port tuned to 33.5 hz. Sounded really great.
As Stealth mentioned, doubling your front baffle could help brace it as well. Birch ply definitely needs to be braced. You could also add 4 more dowels to each corner of your box; around the sub cutouts facing forward to brace the front and rear pieces.
If you really want to increase dramatically, you may have to add another amp. Trunk cars are somewhat power hungry if you really want to see 50s...especially luxury cars.
