  1. there is nothing wrong with the 4.6 or the 5.4 i have driven vehicles with both motors.

my 4.6 in my thunderbird and mustang never give me any problems and the power is there when you need it. and my dad has a 94 thunderbird with a 5.4 swap and its the same story. both are great motors. but i do i agree ford should have NEVER gotten rid of the 302 or 289.

  2. x2 on this statement right hre. its all in how you drive the vehicle. if you have a honda 4 cyl and your pedal to the metal all the time they suck gas too.

    tahoe ftw. denali 6.0 ftw.

2010 is the last year for big suv's i believe.

oh yea alpine they still make replacement parts for production vehicles. theres also scrap yards always full of them. even yours.

definately. my dad has on 05 denali. i love drivin that truck. classy, comfortable and has a nice punch lol.

i asked him if i could have it as my highschool graduation present for my new system....but of course he turned that offer down.

  3. Trail blazer ss FTMFW. Great gas mileage with plenty of room.

Keep iti nmind just cuz gas is down now doesnt meen its going to stay that way. I wont get a v8 again unless I gots a real good job and do minimal travel. A++ for the environment. :D:D:D (Girl friends a tree hugger.)

not all v8's are huge gass guzzlers...yeah they dont get 50 mpg but still. my thunderbird gets 20 around town and almost 30 on the highway. its got 115k miles on it too.

i cant drive anything w/o a v8....guess its personal preference, but anything else doesnt feel right to me.

  4. god those are bright..hope you have no rear view mirror.

What kind of glue are you using? I used a test piece yesterday of my faux suede..and the dap contact cement soaked through it if I put any pressure on it

rear view mirror?...that would serve no purpose in this truck. you cant see out the back anyway.

havent you seen whats back there? lol http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/hairtrick.gif

  5. reccommended size is 5-10 cubes...and 6 cubes would be pefect for the amount of power you are putting to it for all of the reasons people above have said.

it all depends on what kind of car you are putting this in which would be louder.... and either way its better to be safe with the smaller box so you dont destroy your sub...and the sub will eventually fail in a box that big.

take the advice people are givin you bro....they know what they are talkin about.

  6. if spl is what you are looking for, between the q and bl, the bl is definatly where to go.

....im sure if you talked to scott or shawn they *may* be able to throw in some extras for you on the bl(ie. btl options), but as far as ordering directly from the website, no im pretty sure you cant get the same options on both the bl and btl.
