Pretty decent demo....I ore ordered it so I'm gettin it when it's out. I never even played any of the others

do you think it would be smart to let a shop here in town do the work? because i was just planning on buying the stuff and letting them do the work.
do it yourself....plenty of help here if you run into any problems at all.
but as far as the 2 15's or 1 18....i dont think you really need them. start off "small". if your stuck on subs such as the ones you listed maybe start with 2 12's(btls, mayhems, xcons....etc) and run at least rms.
im sure you would be satisfied with them.
-
Not with D2 L7's, with them you can only wire to 0.5 or 2 ohms, both of which are poor options on the AQ.
he said hes gonna try and trade them for d4 L7's....but why would 2ohms be bad on that amp?
-
alright thanks guys...btw not for me for a buddy.
-
if you dont mind me asking....why do you need an 18?
-
would the AQ 1200D be a good combo with two 12" D2 L7's?

Sorry to be a nub but what is clipping? How can you hear it?
search button my friend....countless topics on it.
-
It's safe to say that the majority of songs downloaded out there are clipped by the release group. If you get them for free, the least they would expect you to do is remove the clipping. Personally, I think they're clipped with the sole intention of blowing the speakers of those who are illegally downloading them. What does this mean? More money for car audio companies. If the public was actually educated about what bass boosting and clipping does, then I'm sure we wouldn't be seeing so many messed up tracks out there.
NOTE: That, and so many cars have sub-par stock systems that new hip hop is trying to squeeze every bit out of the speakers by distorting it (well, it sounds better as long as its not turned up too loud).

i wouldnt doubt it. my dad has a tt 04 cobra pushin 740 at the rear wheels. it spikes at 20.5 lbs and holds steady at 19.

he doesnt care about money...his other choice was w7's...
i told him not to waste his money...but tahts a different story.
-
Well my friend is definately an average joe just wanted somethin different. But if it will perform fine there that's what I'll tell him.
-
he said to ask if he tuned a little higher(like 32 would it make much difference in sound quailty wit these subs.
-
well the website says
Acceptable:
2.0 cu ft - infinity net volume sealed
3.0 - 5.0 cu ft net volume vented, Fb = 16 - 24 Hz
Optimal Home:
4.5 cu ft net volume sealed
5.0 cu ft net volume vented, Fb = 16 Hz
Infinite Baffle
Optimal Car:
2.5 cu ft net volume sealed
3.0 cu ft net volume vented, Fb = 24 Hz
do either 5cuft sealed, since they perform well sealed... or 6ish at 28... if it were me... 24 is retarded low for a car
its pretty much designed to be the monster of low end mosters fyi
28 wouldnt be to low for daily bumpin you dont think?
-
i posted up about them before...i heard they can get pretty loud but its not what they are for. they are just to sound extremely clean and hit lows like no other.
-
a buddy of mine just ordered 2 rl-s 12's a few days ago and asked me what he should have the builder tune the box to....i really have no clue where these subs perform best at.
what would you guys recommend him having the box tuned to? he just wants to sound clean on lows....not really looking for being loud as hell.
any info appreciated thanks

funny ass episode...i couldnt stop laughin when i saw that at the end.
good shit
-
just because you cant hear it outside your car doesnt mean its a bad thing....actually most of the time thats what you want.
why would you want to be able to hear it outside the car when you want the sound to stay inside the car....?
-
what do you mean games like this?
cuz gta4 is like this and its on of the most popular games on live
-
pretty decent game...after i finished the story and all the side missions it got kinda boring....and nobody ever plays it on live.
-
ive seen setups with both...type r's at 1200rms and the p3's at 1000rms
both subs handle the power well and sound great. personally i'd choose the type r's over the p3's because i like the way they sound more so than the p3's. but both sound like a good deal to me.
-
im not sure what to say to this...

we have all klipsch speakers for our surround setups in the family room and theater.
