I personally have the Alpine 9856, it is a nice deck comes with many features, I run my ipod through it, it works nice. the only downfall is the preamp voltage 2volts...but they have pretty good SQ
2 volts? i heard it was 5 volts but i can't find anything on it...

they outta stock just like kicker til the end of october... kicker is changin the design of the solo X but the new spares will work in the old baskets! i was lucky to find one! & especially 2 hours after i blew it

either are solo's lol but my buddy had a complete solo in his showroom & gave me the spare & told me to call him tommorrow & he'll give me a price.... anyone know what they go for? still gotta be alot cheaper than a new sub

well now i'm thinkin its the glue makin the smoke not a voice coil bout to go... fuck it we'll see after sunday cuz i'm gona giver lol

took the sub apart today & the voice coil looks fine but the glue above the coil melt'd n ran down on my voice coil & kicker said that can happen & i should be fine but the shitty part is even kicker doesn't have a single spare to sell until october

with the SPARE it doesnt matter the damage because u r only using the mag and basket...so keep pushing it! actually ive seen alot of l7s that this has happened to and they were fine for awhile. just set the gains correct and keep a check on the voice coil temp. we tried a few in tlines(BIG NO NO!) and they were fine after a little smoke out the port! probably not the best thing to do to them but it should still last awhile longer.
well thats what i thought, it still sounds great & if kill it i'll get a spare but i'll jus take it easy

so today i was makin a vid of my solo x & i deiceded to giver er & it start'd makin a smell so i shut it off right away & noticed a lil smoke come outa the port, i know its the voice coil, its still works fine so far but is this the end of my solo X?

Download Itunes and save it to desktop, then once the file is downloaded Double click the file to install it.
Maybe autorun isnt working. Any how try that and tell me how it goes....
see thats the prob, it doesn't let me get that far to save, it just comes as you have downloaded itunes successfully & normaly it would use the autorun & guide u thru it

well my computer crashed recently, propbably from all the shit i have on it lol but i just got it back & i am having a hell of a time installing itunes. i can download it, then it says it was downloaded successfully & it doesn't start to install WTF anyone ever have this problem?
