is that a single 4ohm sub? if so then no it wont unless you bridge it. and it still wont be reciving its full rms...mabey try a different amp.
Ya its a single, and if i just put at one channel it wont be seeing all it can handle. If i bridge it will it blow? And if not will it thump?

Hay everybody, i recently purchased a new kenwood... http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/Pr...ProductID=17651 ... and i have nooo amp. Ive been looking around but, im realy not even quite shure what to look for. Some fellow recomended this amplifier... http://shop4.outpost.com/product/4758009?s...CH:MAIN_RSLT_PG ... Would this be a good macth for my sub???
Any help would be greatley appriciated.

its 500rms, its puts aout alot better than that pioneer amp thats for sure
Ive ran it hard down to 2ohms mono with no problems, and no amp modifications, but not recommending that... lol

and check out Big Oso thread, Group buy, check out the 15" stage 3 woofer
If i bridged this with a 4 0hm sub how many watss rms would i get out of it??? and everyone, i dont have a budget but im not going rediculously crazy on this right now im lookin to buy one sube and an amp an later bild my way up to about 4 12's... and personaly i dont have much experiance on alot of this so any idias?
-
actually that would be a good match, those subs are DVC 4ohm, so if you wire the subs ser/parr you will see a 4ohm final load bridged, which will be the 380rmsx1 load... but that is okay for a beginner set up, or just to have SOMETHING to fill in low end on maybe a upgraded stock audio system
well ok but i just want to get straight to the point what would everyone advise i get!!!
-
why is this in the computer section?
lol i didnt shoose any section it just chose one for me....and if i bridged a 2ohm sub with it how much rms would i be getting...or should i just screw and buy something else. i got infinite amount of money but i wont pay over 200 for a sub and i wont pay over 500 for an amp...
-
Can anyone tell me if this amp is a good match for this sub, or should i change to something else...
