i recently wanted to take on a project with four btls but i work for minimum wage and space is a problem and im not tht experienced but im lookin for a challenge so im goin with four kicker l7's 15 inch subs i sold my previously owned boss amps got 600 for all 4 some of u know i drive a 2001 durango and the boxes im building will fit so not a problem and im thinkin bout runnin kicker amps but i dont know how my electrical will work out so any suggestions battery and alternator wise are needed and any other suggestions are welcome thanks

well see XXX is outta my range for the moment. i got maximum 7 inches of mounting depth. if or when i get around 15 inches of mouting depth and more than 6 cubic feet to play with, i still wouldnt get a XXX. with 500 dollars i can get a btl18.

so sx and se seem to be the best so far.
well price-wise id rather go with se cause they cheaper.
but im lookin at the RE page and sx just looks like a better sub

yea i was kinda wonderin what they might sound like on a 1 or 2 woofer scale. with that much cone area u could prolly have sony and be very loud

wow, how much sound deadening material u got cause if that video was shot around here u'd most likely hear a lot of flexing of doors and stuff.

not every sub has to be pushed hard to sound good...the bx will push the fi's just fine...i would get the q though
if ur not gonna push the sub very hard then why spend the money for a Fi?

well as far as i know, a Hifonics bx1605d wont push 2 of any of these very hard.
i think i tougher amp i called for if ur gonna get 2 of any of these subs

3/4 in...with it doubled on the front ofcourse...i just really hope this work's..as i've been trying to stash some cash for my move back to california this september...and im going to be building it with wood...so it would be a costly boo-boo if i mess it up.
im thinkin do that downfiring box cept take that middle one out so u wont hit the bump in the middle.

ok...time for a bump..the online sq. ft. calculater i used say's i have 9.4 something sq. ft. to work with...my measurment's are up the page a little....does that sound right? that's a lil more room than i thaught i had if thats right...if it is..then i really shouldnt have a problem going ported right?
how thick are the walls gonna be on the box?

fi bl's...maybe q's...but im leaning toward the bl's though.
idk, the Q has a xmax of 27mm while the BL has a xmax of 21mm.

well i just found a sq.ft. calculator...and it say's i have about 9 sq's to work with..and this is in a dodge...so if this thing is right...i say ya can go either way ya want..i sure hope it's right..because im getting ready to start a box build for 2 12's ported..
what kind or 12's?
