  1. Nah your setup is decent. Doesn't affect me, but all I would recommend as a fellow computer user, is to overclock the shit out of that e8600. Don't get me wrong, that e8600 is a hell of a OC'r. Any of intel's 45nm parts overclock very nicely, since they run pretty damn cool.

An Aaron I've barely said anything on this forum and I was just trying to point out something that I felt was fishy.

  2. I think that is complete BS.

Over here you stated that you have a...

    Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9770 3.2GHz

    1000 Watt Power Supply

    Dual 1GB NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GX2

    4g DDR3 Ram

NVIDIA nForce 790i Ultra SLI Motherboard

    1TB 7,200RPM Hard drive

    26" Samsung Flat Panel Monitor

Logitech G51 Surround Sound Speaker System

    Pretty much it.

    I game on it mostly.

Games like Age of Conan, Crysis, Call of Duty 4, World of Warcraft.. etc

Seriously if you knew shit about computers, you wouldn't put dual 4870x2's on a e8600. Unless you're a skilled over clocker and get that above 4ghz on air. That's a hell of a bottle neck. Personally I would like more proof. But I may be wrong and that is actually your setup.

  3. Any extreme edition intel processors is pointless. Unless you're a crazy over clocker. Personally you can get a hell of a OC on their regular processors.

    I would go with a intel e8600 a 3.33ghz dual core w/ a 6mb cache. If you're looking for a decent quad core a Q9450 or q9300 will work perfectly.

As far as amd a Phenom 9950 BE quad core should work perfectly fine, it's only 173ish on newegg. If you can wait amd is releasing their 45nm parts later this year.

  4. Same issue here I have been hearing mix things about DD's. Currently I am searching for a new woofer and I want something that is SQL, I don't know how correct DD's site is. But for the DD9500g's it says 'The 9500 'g' Series might be the ultimate woofer, hand assembled to the tightest tolerances in order to reproduce music as exact as possible, at whatever volume level you desire. ' All I want to know is if it can actually reproduce music as exact as possible with clarity.
