A sony xplod 4 channel...so it's a POS...anyways here's more evidence of problem possibly. I switched to the other 2 channels cause I only used one pair of the two channels...well the other channel wasn't working at all and it keeps making that noise that as if it was cutting out anyways....so, say there's just bass from the begining, no mids...then it makes that so nd through the mids, like a burp...like when you remove a record too quick it makes that sound, kinda similar to that..
So, I know that first set of channels works once in a while and still craps out, and the second set of channels don't work at all but it sounds like they would cut out anyways ,as if it is the headunit or something?

so a new HU is probably in order? not to mention my engine noise is freakin HORRID and I was browsing and seen that alot were saying pioneer was f-ing up.

I have a pioneer and yes they are driven by a mids amp.

Well just recently I had been riding around and my mids cut out. The bass and subs still work and the mids just make a funny squelch sound and turn off. When ever I let it rest for a second, turn the head unit off or pull the faceplate off for a bit it will play again and then cut out in a matter of a minute or so. With the bass real loud while it plays in only a few moments everything just shuts off including the big amp. Is my headunit something to be of concern?

I got money and need an amplifier...but with no guarantees it's gonna work and blown fuses I don't think I'd touch it..
how many watts is it rated at and what..the website is just general md amps

This is false...it has two big bass hits to begin with...then it quiets down so you can hear the damn lyrics...then kanye comes on it basses again twice or so or what ever..then it quiets down again so you can hear the song..it's really actually made to be a good song...

I'm on a budget and currently offering 325 + shipping for an amp of said quality..Need refs please and must confirm on a personal level before money is sent etc... I know the money does not sound that great but if someone has one for sale let me know...

With that kind of money get a bandpass box from teamtoxicbass if they still build them.....it'lls hip and build for less than 500 I believe...and it'll f-in KNOCK...and sound good too...5G will get you a HELLA loud system if you buy parts from the net...I mean....hella loud..with like 1 G to spare if a piece "goes out"

Ah and yes another good combo is if you go to wendy's and get the chicken club...and ask for american instead of swiss...and use the ancho chipotle ranch "dressing" it's SO good to squirt on the sandwhich and eat it.....almost as good as bk...but it's quite a bit more expensive..

Very beastly..if my subs were up and going and didn't need an amp I'd say sold lol...even if they don't fit my doors...4 inches is a hella big mounting depth...

He must have had them hooked up wrong...JL has always been considered an SQ sub with loudness as well but not pure spl..

Ok wait lol if you want slap potential with SQ...go with the 13.5 W7's...get 2 of them they can get loud and they are VERY clear...but again...expensive...

Mount it somewhere else. You wouldn't mount your computer on something that spends half the day vibrating at 35hz so why would you mount a piece of electronic equipment that's just as fragile there?
Just gotta find the right place to put it next time :-/
