well talked to travis and debbie everything i need is sposed to be shiped out today i will see if i get tracking numbers. they dont know where my sub is it got lost. travis said he had something come up and he very sorry great contact today. hope to finish soon i just need a box i know is going to preform good and id love to be able to get someone to draw one up for me.
-
well i think that i got screwed ppl stay away from top dog audio out of ia. for now travis goes by tyoung515 on caco not sure if hes on here. ill let u know if its get fixed but for now it just looks like im out money and system.

what sundown dealer you go through? if you contact jacob directly i am sure it will get taken care of, i normally go directly to jacob for purchasing, easier and i can be assured my item will get here in a timely manner and if there is any fault i know it'll be taken care of very, very quickly. sometimes same day
but that aside, looks pretty good so far, im tuned in
and if you can, change your box depth to 20" and change port length to 21. it'll bring the box up to 3.93 cubes and tuning to 33.75. sa12-s normally like larger boxes closer to 4-4.5 cubes, but with a tuning that low and box this size you'll yield better results on the lower end. it'll decrease port area slightly, but still falls within sa-12 spec.
yea i should of did that i went through top dog audio in ia. i thought if hes a dealer that jacob stands behing him thats y i did it i live and learn.

try to get a box like this:
3.5 cubes
33-35hz
about 12-14" of port per cube
open torres and try these specs:
h = 15
w = 36
d = 19
port dims:

3.57 cubes
13.24" of port per cube
47.25 total port area
33.68hz tuning
and if you add a second baffle, EXTERNALLY youll get 3.55 cubes, 33.38hz tuning, however you wont exactly need a second baffle on that little power, plus the total motor force wont cause too much flex, a single "T" brace will be fine with 1" dowel rod. one front to back centered, and top to bottom centered will be plenty.
hey thanx man ive tried to down load that and use it but cant seem to get it to work/open for me thats why im asking around. i was planing a sigle brace top to bottom and front to back and maybe 2 in the port. thanx man for the help i really just need a blue print to help with the build. im glad to know what the specs are

If a 2500 is little power for sa 12's, i wanna know what bigtime power is..
thats what i thought when i read that wow.
-
how bought this 1 what one would be best for me
-
seems like a lot of port for a pair of 12's... what program did you use to come up with these numbers?
i got it from a guy that had em for free on another site. i thought u wanted alot of port how do i need u know?
-
i think im going to do this unless someone see a problem with it. i want the lows to sound real good move as much air as i can, and make ppl go wow 2 12s.
it going in a 01 mitsubishi montero sport. with 2 stinger spv 69 batterys stock alt on a sundown 2500 @ 1 ohm.

i went to buy the relay pack and the installer told me no just use diodes and gave em to me free but i did have to buy the bypass for the key everything works great after only 8 hours of the bull crap i was taking my time i didnt want a big mess. so if anyone needs help in the future with this type of car let me know
-

also some sites say i dont need them does anyone know if i do or not if so how would i wire them in? thank you. heres the site im useing

i was told that The dual purpose BlueTop (light gray case) was the best to use if ur just going to run one up front if ur getting ones for the back yellow is the best thats what i was told i run red top up front and 2 xs in the back no issues i got mine from mecman on her for cheep so check with him see if he has any deals. also optamas r 150 at sams club
-
i was told it the same distance from the wall as the port is big so............. if u have 4" port its 4"s from the wall if u have a 6" port its 6" from the wall and so on but if this is not correct some feel free to tell me cause i would like to know as well. i heard if u dont put it far nuff away u will get port noise and im not sure of the ether
