Im running a cvx 12 at 2ohms off a hifonics 1606D
Its loude for my 2 seat 2 door 300zx but I want it louder!
I dont have alot of room.
But anyone got a idea of something bigger and better! ?
FI BL OR BLT 12? maybe??
im a big kicker fan and if i was you i would just add another one the amp will be fine for it the sub is 750 rms not 600 if im not mistakin and wired at one ohm your amp would send them about 700 rms each after you add in the voltage drop and all that

do any of the rf punch series 12s sound better and hit harder than the kicker comp vr

i just got rid of 2 kicker compvr 12 in a downfire box in my extended cab gmc sierra and i have found a downfirebox made by subthump with 7 inches of mounting depth and .92 cf i would really like to get 2 l7 solobarics on a hifonics brutus but before i drop the cash i wanna know if its worth it or maybe something a bit cheaper and louder than the compvr's i had

calm down man, check for cut power wires and messed up fuses.
and yes, maybe the battery is bad, take it out and just run straight to the amp
ok thanks

Sounds to me like he popped the fuse between the front battery and the kinetik. Check the fuse, even if it does look ok it still might be blown.
That or there's a disconnected/cut wire somewhere. When two batteries are hooked together they should read the same voltage. He's probably been trying to run his amp off just the kinetik which has pretty much killed the battery.
both fuses look fine but like you say it could still be blown and the wires are connected everywhere is there any chance there is something wrong with the kinetik
if one of the fuses was blown would the amp still come on sometimes????? is it possible the fuse it close to blowing maybe???

i have a friend that has a mazda 6 with 2 kicker cvr 12s on a arc audio kar 900 and a kitnetik hc800 on i think the amp is clipping he has 0 gauge wire from the stock battery to the kinetik and 4 guage to the amp the wierd thing is the car battery is pushing 13.8 volts and its still at 13.8 coming out of the first fuse holder but the kinetick is only reading 9 volts and only 9 at the second fuse holder which is making the amp clip because sometimes it will play for 10 to 20 min and then just quit and a few times after i unplugged the speakers the amp would go back to normal i am completely lost so please help before we try to replace the wrong thing

havent got any shallows.. but i do have a 2000 chevy ext cab.. i did have a rockford p3 downfire under the backseat and it wasnt shallow mount.. how much room do you got?
its an 04 extended cab with a box made of poly something or another its black but its for 10's and if i get 12's i probably will just cut it out
i aint quite sure yet on the subs cause i want 10's for less air space but i not sure how they gonna sound on the lower notes cause the only 10's i have ever heard are kicker cvt but as far as the amp im looking at planet hifonics or maybe jbl

i blew 2 cvr's and i called the company and they said it was because i didnt break the speakers in but they would be happy to replace them...how exactly do you break speakers in?
will it be ok to have to kicker cvr (400rms each) at 1 ohm wired to a hifonics 1200d or is that to much power and im running stock electrical
