    If you really desire to build a loud one, lose the 6x9s and build a new box. You'd be surprised how much louder it will be!

    I would have no problem with that. What would i tune it too?

    I wouldn't mind higher numbers but, I would rather catch the lows that consume your whole body. Know what I mean?

    putting the port across the top instead of the bottom (still firing forward) would not be louder on a meter. Firing the box up with the port across the back (by the back window) would be louder on a meter.

    I was thinking about doing that, but I have the 6x9"s box across the top to deal with.

    what part of Louisana? i know what u mean im in SE Texas and people here seems to like Flea market systems and im tired of hearing about DB 15s how bad ass they r booooooooooooooooo but every 1 like kicker and jl round my parts. good score btw woot woot!!

    i have tried a bunch of different setups in my truck so far the loudest is subs up and port up. but i still have to try subs and port to the drivers side. i am expecting a big gain from that one.

    At the big comp this weekend my boy Bret has 4 9515"s with teh port on the drivers side.

    GL man, personally I would like to see you back on because you were retarded and I have yet to see it repeat itself. Your young, live and learn. If you get the hammer again deal with it and just watch.

    Nice scores, made me feel inferior for a minute till I found out that score is in the kick. :D

    It was GEHY, that all they would do with the ball thing... i was like WTF.

    I am going to go to another comp this weekend coming up and get it on the dash. :aggressive:

    Yeah you did ban me. I deserved it. I was a complete dick.

    When all that shit went down I jumped the gun trying to keep some pride or something, Which failed epicly.

    I like being able to talk on here. so I made another. Not trying to start shit. Just to talk with people.

    Since no one where i live knows shit bout audio, and thinks the MOFO shit is the best ever.

    i just dont kno what crossover is is it like a function on the amp or what??? please dont make fun of me lol be patient

    There usually is one on most amps, usually a Highpass/Lowpasss. Highpass stops lows from getting to the speakers.. Used for highs.

    Then there is a Lowpass, which stops highs from getting to usually a sub.

    at the moment i have a jbl gto 14001 with 2 mtx 5500 10s bridged an i think there 2 ohms but im not sure

    Well there is not bridging going on, that is a single channel amp. i'm guess by model number.

    But at any rate, If they are single 2 ohm, then if you are running in parallel then your amp is seeing a 1 ohm load.

    If they are wired in series then your amp is seeing a 4 ohm load.
