I've been through this myself. I really don't understand why a deposit is such a hard concept for some people. They can't be that dense.
My friend and I sold a camper trailer to a woman and she made a deposit. Quite awhile later she came wanting the deposit back. We said no and she went and got some of her tweeker boyfriends to try to scare it out of us. It backfired on them but I won't go into that story.
We kept the money of course.
A deposit is good faith money showing good faith on the buyers part. When they don't act in good faith the deposit becomes the sellers property.

Great battery set up. I looked at the numbers on the meter doing the clamping and I thought it was volts for a sec and was going Oh no!!

If you decide to go with an Audiocontrol look at the Epic-160 as an option. It has a built in decibel meter as well as a volt meter. It doesn't have termlab accuracy of course but it's a fun gadget and can be useful for tuning.

That kind of meter in the picture above is what all the shops around here use. I scored a 147.7 on it. Then took the same set up to a usaci/termlab and did a 142.2.
Not a big fan of the AC's myself.

You say you are running two amps, Are they strapped or linked or just one to each sub?
Edit: Asking because I have taken 2 brand new same model amps and tried one to each sub without strapping or linking and put one on each sub. tested voltage with a clamp meter on each speaker out. At a low level 1 was reading .7 amps and the other was reading .1 amps. Both amps were set as close to the same as possible.
I'm not sure if that would cause cancellation or not but I'm sure it can't be good.

Hmmm, Never had a D6 but unless they are better than a older kevlar TDX D9 15 I think he is mistaken. I can get the D9 to bottom out with my Concept 2400a in a sealed box.
But it is loud and sounds great.

That must be a mistake, Osu is down here it it takes me 25-30 minutes to get to salem. It costs 5 bucks. Not sure if they have a website but they have a my space, "handlaudio". h&l audio
Watch the video and I'm the one hitting 147.8.at 2:03 into the video. Not a term-lab but not bad for 2 12's in a 4 door trunk on a weak kenwood amp. I'll have a different car this time and I have no idea what it will do.
Oh and check out my buddys set up on it with 8 15 inch mojo's m3's and 4 mtx 4000.1's. Nice daily pounder. He will be there at this one also.

sold it for 1000
I would have made a trip to Stockton for that. Thats what I wanted. I settled a bit with this one.

I use tones. I have a tone cd and a tone generator. With my other car I know songs that hit just about as hard as a tone but it will take a while to figure this car out.

My two cents, The donation/team car is a great idea for the next one like you are saying. I'll chip in a little on a van or something.
But I'd like to watch you build a numbers car your own way. It would be an interesting project for me. Some people just don't get what you do, Maybe they will get this lol.
