    Both left at stock both are about the same

    Now intel overclocks way higher and rules all 3dmark benchmarks

    I know the qx9650 can go to 6ghz+ for benching

    On water mines runs at 4.5

    Do you have a CPUz screenshot of your phenom? Or some 3dmark benchmarks?

    how do you do that? do i need to up the voltage in other spots or something? My Quad core 6700 2.66 only likes to go just about 3.4 before it becomes unstable, and that is ON WATER. Maybe my o/clocking skillz are teh weak :D

    hey steve if your serious pm me with what mobo,memory and speeds your running and I can help you get to at least 3.8 stable

    In under an hour I got my old q6700 stable to 3.8.

    btw nice pc op, need to clean up the wiring though ;) and the e8600 can get to 5ghz without to much hassle with a skilled overclocker.. I got my old e8400 to 4.6 no problems.

    if im LUCKY and i get my meter working......do some shit here and there, i MAY get a 158 burp.....id be happy with a 157 at the dash. Its MUCH louder then it was in 04 and back then i was touching 156.5 at the dash. Who knows.....actually, i dont really care, i know its loud as hell and is a crowd pleaser so thats all that matters to me. Its definitly not doing a 159 or 160.......not even in the kick.

    I know its a crowd pleaser, I show the videos you post to everyone at work and they say it is insane lol and its not even a wall..

    Not to diss chickens ride cause it is also sick but man your setup is clowning!

    he must disable 2 of the cores to get "real" o/c'ing potential. Quad cores dont o/c well unless you do this... :)

    BTW for the next couple years or so until more games utilize more than 2 cores, clockspeed > cores

    the newer benchmarks like 06 and vantage utilize all 4 cores and a quad does overclock well.. I have mine at 4ghz 24/7 and bench around 4.5 or so. disabling 2 cores gets me to like 4.55 but for everyday the quad is faster.

    You are right about the games though, but crysis and unreal tournamet 3 and some others utilize all 4 cores.

    BUT IMO if your only gonna game an e8400,8500 or even an e8600 is better then a q6600...

    I own a qx9650.

    I am sure someone here will help you on a quick design but if your not handy try and find someone near you to build you a box.. A fair price on a so so box is about $100 a sheet of wood (on the cheap side also) but trust me even if you spend $400 on a custom box you will NOT regret it one bit.. ITS ALL IN THE BOX... buy a $50 box and your sub wont be anywhere its capable performance level..

    I think a so so box for your sub should cost anywhere around $150.. Depending on the builder. Which is very cheap considering its custom made

    The other day someone called me for a box for 2-15"s I charged them $400 and they said (thats to much I know this dude that will do it for free) well I have a ton of dbdrag experience the other dude well he has 0 experience and he is blind (the blind guy is a really cool guy but people shouldn't take advantage of him and not want to pay)

    He has 2-15"s and wants to beat another guy with 4-15"s in bass race, I told him it would take me allot of testing and time and $400 isnt much, its been a week but I bet he will call when he has no choice but to call but by then it will be $500! lol

    ok to make it easier on people it will only be 06 and vantage

    I know not everyone has vista so I will make a top ten list for xp users only and one for vista (people who provide benchmarks for both and people who only ran 06)

    Btw sick 01 numbers steve! the rest are still very competitive, so much steve is first place :)

    and people who have already posted a score please edit or post a screen shot of your score at least, thanks :)

    his neighbors would go APESHIT if he played that full tilt for 30 seconds... surely he'd have to take it to a remote location to do a bass race run...

    hell, his neighbors bitched about the door speakers in his honda LOL

    f'ing neighbors!

    I bet once its done he will bass race it :) cant wait to see some flexing videos of it.

    you want us to download a gig and a half worth of benchmarking programs for an e-penis bragging rights contest? I could see maybe one of the 4... but no thanks.

    Nobody has a gun to your head, Don't like it move on :) No need to post negative comments.

    If anything just download vantage and post it, Its not like many have posted scores so you can make the top 10 with just 1 benchmark :) lol

    So far no one who has posted their scores count cause they have no screen shot or orb link (remember I will be adding up the total scores in the screenie with 3dmark calculator so no cheating) :)

    160.x in bass race? I thought it burped that...

    What I meant is a ported wall, like woofers to the passenger side and port on the driver side...

    Someone also posted it is some kind of bandpass design.. I wonder how this sounds. From what I gather bandpass designs tend to peak in a very short frequency range which is terrible for sound quality but maybe the guy who posted it was a bandpass was wrong since obviously it wasnt meade posting it.
