  1. Looks like you did an awesome job on it.

    The carpet job looks great.

How big is it and whats it tuned to?

its 4.13 cubes after port and driver displacement tuned to 35-36hz somewhere in the middle...

i used the elimental designs tutorial to carpet it... its actually alot easier than you would think.... ive got more pics of the box and other random shit here

anybody else? what do you think?

  2. well ive got a couple vids now... she is hittin pretty hard.... these vids were from my first test day.... right now its torn back apart some.... as my mrp-m1000 was defective, and i have an electrical short somewhere in the car, but not in the sound system.... the dash lights come on whenever the hell they please.... and it ran both of my batteries dead.... i also have my new mrp-m1000 nib siting in my room... waiting to be hooked back up...

my second battery is located in the spair tire well, and im going to relocate my ground wires for the amp and battery as the ground wires are a bit longer than i want them to be...

also im wanting to sell these type s's.... and im planning on going with 4 of the 12" DC lvl2's

id say from my past experiences with a meter the car is hitting low to mid 140's legal.... im shooting for a solid 145 or better eventually...

    but here you go...

  3. i would suggest getting an electronic crossover that has ouputs for highs and lows or you can do it the cheap brokeass way and just get y splitters, and remember every time you split your signal you loose signal voltage...

here is an example... its a 3-way but you can also find 2-way crossovers.... something like this is your best bet to a clean system....

  4. On most high-power monoblocks they're actually remote gain cuts. You set the gain at the amp with the remote unplugged and then you know that even with the knob full-tilt you'll never exceed it.

ok... ive only had one bass knob and it was on a bxi608 and it was bass boost.... to set it i turned everything on the amp down and turned the knob all the way up and then started setting the gains on the amp with a dmm.... that way when the knob was all the way down there was no bass....

  5. honestly seems audios never been a good hobby for you in the first place, lots of big dreams and no results that match those dreams. i say sell it all off and go with somethign else that you may finish.

    OUCH!....lol...BURN!....

any ways, i dont think you should sell it all.... just stop pooring money into the audio and put it into racing for now... keep the audio for a hobby on a rainy day... or you can just send all of your stuff to me...

  6. yeah but cops around here are complete assholes and im sure if i didnt have the mirror id be getting pulled over left and right.... and plus the mirror has lights on the bottom so there is a small wiring harness hanging down.... im thinking about looking above the headliner and find out if there is a metal brace there that i can bolt into.... if thats the case ill just make a bracket for it...
