it needs warshed..lulz... i bought my saturn in poor condition for $700.. i put about $2k in the car itself and i have a great car now... if you get a chance to grab a saturn in decent condition, dont pass it up

so im thinking about redoing my setup a little and cramming 3 10's in the saturn... what would it take to make my sa12's into sa10's... i believe it has been stated that the motors are the same? but a cooling ring was added after my woofers were made i think... im guessing i just need baskets and recones and perhaps the new cooling rings... as if it was necessary in the first place..lol
basically the idea is to recone them to 10's and just buy another sa10.... and ill just toss the aq2200d on them at .66ohms... oh that reminds me... is 1.25cuft per woofer the smallest you would go enclosure wise or would a bit smaller be alright? im actually going to be tuning to around 36hz this time.... 32hz is sweet for shaking shit... but im ready to achieve the 150db mark... 145+ just isnt enough anymore
They can be made into 10s -- currently the new rings aren't yet in stock as parts. They would have the old ring + vented frame.
thanks Jacob... so to actually make them match im guessing i would have to get another old sa-12 motor? also, did the recones change at all when you upgraded to the new cooling ring? or is it identical in size, just machined differently?
to the other guys... sometimes when you are unsure of things its good to ask... it would be much better to dive balls deep in something and know what im doing... rather than ruining something because i didnt learn about it and ask questions... its one of those "measure twice, cut once" type of things

I fire forward and still have rear speakers. You just have to isolate them. Now if you dont seal off you'll get cancellation The difference is night and day from a full sealed to a half sealed. trust me.
this... although it is damn near impossible to completely seal it off, it does make a huge difference....
and no, firing forward isnt just about spl... its about getting loud and sounding good doing it, without the annoying trunk rattle...

It doesnt take nearly as much power to be loud. You have to remember coming on here and seeing these builds that are being done are mostly people with a sick obsession. lol. 140 is a loud daily driver 145plus is a stupid loud daily driver and anything ove 150 is maniacal. 2 12s a nice box and 1500 watts can get you close to that 145 range.

but on the real.. i totally agree with the op... we push our standards higher and higher every day... when will this madness end? i hope it doesn't...

with comp vehicles its all about getting maximum power at a certain frequency... with us being ground pounders, we play all different frequencies. impedance will change with frequency, therefore it doesnt matter what your rise is since you measure rise on a burp at a certain frequency...
the only way to combat impedance rise in a daily system is MOARR POWEERR

thanks for the cool info... i think im going to grab the 4 gig version and get a 20gig hard drive for it... should be a little cheaper than the elite version.... im not a big time gamer so i doubt i will ever need the the 250 gig

I got mine at gamestop and they gave me a free game ontop of the one in the bundle, I paid 324 with tax...xbox is like a apple product, there pretty much the same price no matter where you go..if there substantially cheaper they prolly fell off the back of a truck lol

im looking for a good condition xbox 360 slim. or im looking for a place to buy one at the lowest price... so far the only ones on ebay that i have found are more expensive than walmart... let me know if you have one to get rid of or any leads on a good price...

so, ive been thinking about getting my nipples pierced... i kinda want to get an idea on how bad its going to hurt... i dont plan on getting a large guage... just like the standard ear ring guage...
fyi ive had my tongue pierced... it didnt hurt but the popping noise was the worse part.. and my ears are pierced in three places... just wanted to add that in to let you know that ive been pierced before
