bump for a great deal! I'd be all over this if I was still getting a second alt...Someone buy this, it makes no sense to lose the 120 amps of power your stock alt is putting out, just add on another one!

This is a brand-new kit from Alterstart including the belt and ALL hardware. I bought this a month or two ago, but I don't have the cash for two ho alternators right now. i have a tripple alt bracket from Ohio Gen for the 5.7L engine where the AC is on the driverside of the engine that is for sale.

I checked on Ebay and Doms store....but I couldnt find any.....Ohio wants a but load for theirs (300.00 if I buy ANOTHER alt from them) and I would like it to be universal just in case I want to add one that is not gm cased.....

Hey Steve...I know it's a noob ? and all, but why not run your rear batteries straight off of the front one? Why from the alternators?
It's the same connection. Running it off the alt makes it a straight run. Because normally you go from alternator to battery. So this is just keeping the engine bay less cluttered.
I only have one battery in the back, but it's going directly from my battery up front. Should I change it and connect it straight to the alternator (300 amp), or will it make a difference?
