it has to do with formatting, the decks processor does not support large hard drives

also the 3300bt doesnt work with usb hdd's

suggestions ? i think alpine were the ones i remember doing it. But they don't show that it allows it one the specs or anything.

Yea that seems weird that it would only accept a certain size. Have you tried hooking up the harddrive to see if it works?

yep.. and doesn't work.. i've seen some people do it.. but never took interest in it until lately.. but now i can't find them.

Any good head unit has a USB port these days. My Alpine CDA-105 has a USB port that I use for my Ipod.

How can yours only support 4 gigs? I don't get that. Shouldn't it just read whatever you have? No matter the size?
