  1. exactly you have 2 10 w7's (very musical subs) and a bandpass built (designed) by a great box builder with alot of experience
  2. i personally do not like bandpass. and i would never recommend them to anyone for a daily setup.
  3. which is probably all that you have in your toolbox.
  4. nice setup looks like he could use a little more port area though.
  5. you can just mount some 2x4's to the face of the box that points towards the floor so it rests on the 2x4's. yea. you can face the port down with the sub. or you can face it up, to the side, towards the back, towards the front. just whatever sounds best in your situation.
  6. ^^^^oh. yeah it only works if you have room to space the sub off of the floor. like 3-6 inches and the sub fires down towards the floor.
  7. bandbass boxes are usually one note wonders. you have to know alot about bandpass in order to build one that will hit all frequencies pretty good. in trucks though, i personally like downfiring setups. they sound great.
  8. so the the roof is a solar panel? jeez. why don't they just put a lil 25 horse motor that powers nothing but alternators and have the full drive system be electrical. would be alot better on gas.
  9. you should have read the rules. they require you have 150 post minimum to sell.
  10. ^^^^they might not have one for your car on the website. pm them and see. otherwise try mechman. he has a section on here also. always plan for future upgrades. if you get a 150 amp now and then 6 months down the road get another amp for mids and highs then you will wish you had gotten the 200 amp. get the most you can possibly afford.
  11. if would do a 200 amp if you are planning on running 2000 rms to subs and ? to mids and highs. pm "DC Power Kyle" or "DC Power Rob" for price quotes. or go here: www.dcpowerinc.com
  12. do you know the level 5's are super heavy ^^^^^
  13. i wouldn't get an irragi if i were you. get a dc power. they actually dyno their alternators so you know they put out what they are supposed to. also you can get kinetik batteries on ebay for cheap.
  14. what kind of voltage do you have in your car? if you don't have 14.4 volts you will not see 2600 watts with that hifonics.
  15. ^^^its not bad since it'll do 3k. the audioque 2200d will do 2200 watts for $389 shipped
  16. btw. if you want to run 2 of those type r's off of one amp at 1 ohm. you will want d4 ohm subs. http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_c...sp?Q=2&I=42
  17. you would want it at a 1 ohm load to get the "2000" watts. you will probably only see 1800 out of that amp though. check out the DAT (diablo audio technology) section. great amps. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...p?showforum=146
  18. thats not a bad price for those subs. ^^^the dat would be good. you'd have to be careful with it though, it'll do 3k
  19. they are still great subs but i prefer the older models because they are WAY more efficient and still sound great.
  20. what everybody's ranks on here. just wondering. i'm E-4 senior airman. been in for 3 years.
  21. if you do get a waiver and make it past basic, and then a couple years down the road you have to get surgery they might medically discharge you. a buddy of mine that i went to basic with had minor Heart palpitations and they discharged him after 3 years. and i know of alot of people that get discharged because of medical problems. and now they are in the same place they were but a couple years later. i'm not a doctor and don't know how much of a risk your problem is but give it a shot if you really want to join up. you only have one life, so do what you want.
  22. that amp would work. or audioque 2200d. how much are you gonna pay for the type r's?
  23. or get this: old style xxx = way better sub overall in my opinion http://cgi.ebay.com/18-Resonant-Engineerin...id=p3286.c0.m14
