I GOT IT!!!!! i went to the apple site went to troubleshooting and it ran me threw it it was my proxy settings that needed to change in order for my ipod to restore

i have an ipod touch 16gb 1st gen and its jailbroken, when i turn it on i cant slide the slider to unlock it just dosent respond to touch i have tried resetting it ( holding power and home blahblah) and it didnt do anything please any help will be good
