im goin to build an enclosure:8.5 cubes 35Hz
box is going to be for 2 treo ssx 15's!
but on the website it says to make it around 7 cubic feet tuned to 29.4 Hz is that right?
will it make a diffrence to make it bigger and tuned to 35Hz

awsome , now 1st thing monday go to home depot and buy the mdf,and order the ports,and find someone to build it for me(ive never had any expiriace making an enclosure i would be awsome if i had some one from the forum make it?)

yea...the outer circle has a diameter of 7.25", which is how big the flare is on a 4" aero port...
inner circle has a 4" diameter though...
the outer circle just represents the mounting flare...
wow,man where can i get get those flares?

7.52cubes net, tuned to 35hz...ports are 11" long
spacing is kinda weird on the ports cause i didnt know the depth of the sub and if it would hit the ports...so i played it safe...not my best..but it will do

my current box dimensions are...
49 1/2 inches long,16 inches tall,21 3/4 deep
with (4) aero ports 9 inches deep,4 inches wide
tuned to 40Hz!
but i wanna go lower to 35Hz!

What is the point in comparing the rms to the cost? Will the sub handle that power yes, under what circumstances thats a different story. Do you plan on getting a real world clamped 3k or a rating of 3k? As far as copper and alum coil they do obviously have score differences on the same power, but the alum coil will handle more power as for sound I didnt notice any difference in sound from the copper to the alum.

treo ssx 15 is $700 USD!
but i found one for 250 dollars(treo)!
so thats what i was comparing!

I want to get my hands on some reasonably priced 0 gauge wire, about 50-60 feet. Pm me if you got any you want to get rid of. I am lookin to do the big 3 change my 4 gauge power and ground to 0 gauge and I will be adding another battery.
i got about 20ft of 1/0 gauge raptor wire!

ok ..i know i could easily go and buy cable somewhere else...but just wondering if any of u guys have 1/0 cable that u dont need anymore.. even smaller pieces w/terminals...
