wasnt that krakatoa? they said they could hear it all the way to texas i think, i hate all these safty things i halfto go to like osha training n what knot sayin excess of 120db will make u deaf, ya it will but it depends on freq also, lower notes are not as harmful as higher ones are, i dont kno why but u can ask any basshead this n if they can hear u then its not that
i think im in the 130ish range with my 2 15's n i can still hear fine, makes my dash move around a lil bit n back glass sound like its gunna blow out but still i can hear just as good as i ever could

with a stock electrical system and 3 total batteries...your not ready for a 3kw amplifier.

and ive been running it for about 1 year and it pounds!

look into crossfire they rate all there amps at 12 volts and the new ones look nice all blacked out

Sounds like either clipping or possibly even low voltage, except that it was only running low for a short period of time. Which will pretty much eliminate the voltage drop theory, unless u got the voltage drop from hell all of a sudden. Those amps are serious current whores and have been known to be very touchy with clipping. So I'd suggest getting an extra batt or 2 in back and even would suggest an HO alt if you can afford it.
Btw is that duralast batt a wet or dry cell battery??
Also this is so confusing, could you explain in english please - added a lil bass then i made a "click" sound and the bass cut out so i took off the bass a the bass came in .... You made a click sound and the bass cut out, so you took off the bass a???? the bass came in.

ok the volume is at 5 out of 35!
as soon as i start adding bass and the voltage drops under 13.4volts the amp cuts out, and the moment i take off the bass and the voltage goes up to 14.0 volts it clicks back on!
