  1. The remote idea may be an option.....I will see what I can figure out. Yeah my buddy needs to be able to turn the light off from the main cab, large rear door and side door. I was thinking surely that someone had done something similar. Thanks for the help guys back to the drawing board.

If he was to purchase a decent alarm, one of the channels could be used in conjunction with the light and then using his remote to turn the light on and off.

  2. Ok guys I have a friend that is trying to install some 12 volt fluorescent lights in his custom work truck. He needs to be able to operate the lights from at least three different locations if needed. Front door, side door, and back door. I can figure out how to wire the light using two DPST switches easy enough, but I am lost :trippy: :trippy: :trippy: at the third location. Do I need to use a three pole switch? My buddy is wanting to work on this project next weekend so if anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  3. A guy came into the store today who is an avid bike rider, he was telling me to stay away from the big padded seats and stay with the narrow streamlined seats that are padded. My bike has the narrow seat now with very little padding, I somehow doubt that a little gel covering could make that much of a difference. Any thoughts guys? The Jenson USA site is nice. Thanks for the link. These seats are not that expensive, guess I just keep buying and trying til I find the right fit.

  4. Ok guys I had to get a bike so I could go rid'n with my little man. I have not been on a bike for 21 or so years. Guys what is a good comfortable seat to buy, where to buy? I got some local bike shops but they are outrageously high. I am walking like a whore during a convention!!! If anyone got any clues I would be most appreciative. Thanks.

Oh yeah little man got his first taste of ROAD RASH tonight. Could not find his elbow pads, so yeah the one place he was not covered of course scrapes the concrete. Little man got back on the bike like it was no big deal.

    Friday, 30 April 2010 07:40

We continue to learn more after a Lexington police officer is killed in the line of duty overnight.

Police have now identified that officer has 27-year-old Bryan Durman, a two-and-half year veteran of the Lexington Police Department.

It all happened around 11 p.m. at the intersection of Alabama Avenue and North Limestone where witness say an officer was searching a car, when he was hit by an SUV.

That driver then sped off leaving the officer lying the street.

Police say he was rushed to UK Hospital where he died a short time later.

In their news conference early this morning, police spoke about officer Durman's character, and said he was a model officer.

Police later tracked down and arrested 33-year-old Glen Doneghy at some apartments on Northland Drive, near Applebee's Park.

He's now charged with murder and possession of drugs, among other charges.

From dealing with this individual he should have been locked away in a mental ward long ago.

Also lost my father in law to what appeared to be a heart attack.
