  1. So i haven't posted in this forum very often lately if at all, but i believe that I fit all the requirements to sell and i f i don't please remove the thread.

I had these installed in my camaro but removed them after about 3-4 months and just kept them in the closet. 1 sub has minor scuffs on the back only from being taken out of the back and the other is like new with VERY minor scuffs. They have seem more dust than action. Of course they all work so dont even bother asking. Pioneer doesnt offer high end subs or anything really so this is the best condition used product you will find. I had a bd1000.1 at 1 ohm hooked up to it. I rather use the money for my truck that i want to buy. Will not separate sorry. I will only sell locally because it cost so much to ship because these fuckers are heavy.

Will trade for other cool stuff. Viper alarm, component sets, camaro/firebird parts, you know what forum im posting this on so you use your imagination. Ive bought and sold some stuff here so i should have feedback but feel free to background check me at ebay Miguelm921.

    $300 gets both of these

  2. So I go to move my car but I notice I don't have my keys, so I do what I normally do when I can't find my keys, I try to trigger my alarm so my remote will beep, my alarm was disarmed so no luck there. I've looked everywhere but can't find em. I know they are somewhere in my garage but it will really help me locate them if they peeped. Is there anyway to make the pager beep so I can find it? I know if I had a spare fob I could but unfortunately I dont. I do have another one way fob from another alarm. Is there anyway I can program that in the meantime or does it also need to be 2way. My alarm is 690xv. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

  3. Yupp definitely some good advice here. By the way it uses a timing belt not timing chain. Timing chains never need to be serviced and don't stretch.60k is the longest I would go on your engine. Regardless of if it is the problem replace it. If you have never done mild engine take it to a shop. It is not worth the effort to learn on such a delicate engine. I would definitely check all accessories driving by timing belt since they can also alter the timing if bad. Don't cheap out and buy the timing belt at a parts store. Dealer belts always last a bit longer than what rated at. Dealer should be able to do it in a day. That does not mean it will be done in a day just how long it would take. They might have a lot of other cars. A good shop can get it done in about 4-6 hours or less. I dont know your exact vehicle but fwd usually take longer since the belt is crammed behind the tire well.

  4. So I want to get a QTP electric cutout which works of a switch. I have a 690xv and want to hookup so it works from one of my aux outputs. I alresdy have a remote start and 530t window module installed. I believe I have 1 aux left. The thing is that the output only triggers it for about a 2 secs. I need about 8-10 seconds to fully open or close the cutout. Can rig up a 529t or some kind of timer relay to work of it? Anybody install one of these? Heres a link http://tinyurl.com/4u9n3m5

  5. Is this going to be a daily driver? Do you mind only having 4 seats with only 2 of the seats being comfortable? If not i would get a ls1 camaro or better yet a ws6 or transam. I am biased but i love my camaro and it doesnt take much to make it loud. If not you might want to look at the supercharged gtp. It is fwd but plenty fast.

  6. So, today, I went to my truck to crank it up and the battery was dead. I jumped it off and got it to crank up. I turned the gain down to nominal power and turned the LPF to 100. I turned the MX on and noticed a big difference from the sub (sounds like its barely playing without the MX on). I rode around for about an hour with no more dimming problems. The sub sounds great. I love having a system again, and hopefully there won't be anymore issues. I'm getting a constant 14.1V from the battery, even with music playing. I took out my head unit and all wiring is intact. Until further notice! I think I might have an idea why the battery died: I was tuning my amp without the car on, but in accessory mode. Think that may be it?

sorry for the 3rd post but yes playing your system with the car off will kill your battery very quick, unless you have kinetics then its really bad for your batteries health, ask me how i know

  7. did you already fix the problem? ive noticed that with alpine HUs you sometimes need to run a direct power line to the constant 12v i usually use 8g, at least this was the case for my cda9813/9815/7897/ even the newer cda105, they all did this in my camaro and corolla every now and then but in both my friends with civcs it was a constant problem, i never had this problem with any other manufacture

  8. Also, for my 6'0" frame, it sucks to get into and out of. Once in it though- it is really nice and comfy. They love theirs. They haven't had the first problem with it and they purchased it new and drive it Everywhere.

Same thing for my camaro its a bitch to get into especially in parking lots but its so comfy, i feel like im laying down but i can still see perfectly fine and work every pedal and knob. Driving any other car makes me feel like im standing up and uncomfortable.

  9. because they are slow.... they weigh wayyy to much and are slower than hell... i walk 6.0's all day in my 4.6 and i have time slips to prove it... yes they look nice... but when some young punk can pull up in a mustang that cost less than the gto and can produce more power walks you... you tend to not buy the car...

Mustang 4.6 faster than a ls2 gto? What are smoking kus i want some of that shit! Either your mustang is not stock or they got some shitty drivers. Car enthusiast know that ls1/ls2 engines are great performing, gas efficient, and reliable engines. Thats why even ford guys use them for hot rods. The sad truth is that people who buy american muscle cars are buying the ones that bring back the looks of the old ones. They want to look young and cool. Same thing for the ls1 camaros. They kicked the shit out of mustangs of the time ls1/315hp dynoed 330+ while the mustang was 265hp and dynoed 255-265. The mustang was just bought more because more people recognized it and those who dint know about cars thought it was better. Just how people think kicker is better then sundown. The GTO is an awesome car but just dint bring back any of the looks of the older ones and nobody really knew about it. It doesnt look like a fast car, kinda like looks like a cavelier. It did exceedingly well in Australia. Also people fear because pontiac is no more its going to be hard to get it serviced.
