Audique 2200D and one 15" DC LVL4 XL
What does that sub go for $$???
-
So I'm looking to spend about $1000 dollars for a system it will probably be around $1200 all said and done, but iam just torn on what to get i see good stuff about a lot of brands Fi,dc,RF, sundown.... etc. i found what seems like an awesome deal on *** Here i looking for something that is gonna knock, iam just going to get one 15" for now unless anyone has a better suggestion help me out guys !

i have heard that RF amps are really underrated? and if so buy how much?
-
there are two outputs yes but they are wired together internally. so bassically if you have 2 2ohm speakers wired to them the amp will see a one ohm load. if you have 2 4ohm itll be 2 ohm and so forth.
wouldn't 2 2ohm subs be .5 ohm load and 2 4ohm subs be 1 ohm ?

So iam probably going to get a fosgate amp but there is two channels on the amp** right ?? so its only 1000 watts per channel ? can somebody explain Bd monoblock to me please... also any suggestions for a sub(s) to pair with it
Thanks

the only way you are gonna be able to wire that sub to that amp is if you run it at 4Ohms which means that the sub will only be getting 1250 watts rms. =
the amp is prob cutting out due to the 4ga wire + the lack of enough current coming from the battery + improper installation.
Do it right the first time and you wont risk blowing the amp or sub.
Damn it another problem the sub we have is a 2/1 Ohm so is there even a correct way to do it ? because we cant do 4Ohms can we with that sub ?

so what would peak be at 4Ohms ?

So my buddy just got a 08 Zx2500.1 amp and we hooked it up really fast just to see what it would do and its running off of 4 awg wire (i know its hood). but we are gonna do it right when the 1/0 awg wire comes Thursday. And i was wondering why it cuts out if we turn it up so loud then it goes right back on is it not getting enough power ? and also the sub he has is a DVC 2 Ohm and the amp amp is 4/2 ohm how do i wire it so its just 2Ohm is there anything special i need to do or what ?

No iam talking about using a resistor for the first time you put power to it so it doesn't just get it all the power all at once and at it takes it slowly idk just wondering because I've read things here and there and heard stuff but idk. guess iam wrong
-
also when iam charging a cap for the first time isn't there a certain way to do it I've heard put a 1k Ohm resistor between the + on the Cap And The Power wire ?
-
Dang that sucks because the only one they have for my truck at auto zone is red top and they will have to order a yellow top i need a good battery asap !
-
So iam upgrading to an optima for a interstate battery do i wanna go with the yellow top or red top battery?? or does it really not make a difference ?
Bumpin on a budget !!!
