  1. I got them at at nice price. Was like $5 for 100 with free shipping/handling. Couldn't complain with that.

Why 20.. hehe. Well, the dome light is actually something I picked up from home depot. Its supposed to be for the house. The adapter for it even stated 120v AC. I decided to try it one day on 12v and it worked great. doesn't look the best since I haven't done the fiberglass headliner project yet.

I want it to be daylight in the van. The white ones will eventually be wired to my accessory output wire on the alarm and a led strobe controller. So they'll strobe when the alarm is set off.

I might start working on an underbody kit, but will need 10 times more leds than I have right now to make it look decent. Guess I need to start visiting Oznium again.

  2. I just received an order, from China, of 100 blue LEDs with the required resistors. they are rated at an MCD: 7000 TYPICAL/10000MAX.

Last time I got 50 of them, they were pretty damned bright. Lit up my dash pretty nice.

Now, what should I do with 100 of them? Any ideas for an Astro? I've already got 20 white ones for my dome light. Not sure how the dash lights would look with blue, since some of the lettering on in the instrument cluster is blue or black.

Don't really need to add any more for my alarm indicator as my outside door mirrors take care of that.

Hmmmm.. Maybe I can light up some tarantulas (Soundstream logo) in each back window. That may look alright, but I was thinking about doing thst with red LEDs and wiring them to my brake lights.

I just don't know. What do you all think?

  3. unfortunately yes. I have been having this problem pretty much all my life. Seems like it's getting worse lately.

I'm scared I'm going to hurt my 1yr old or my wife during one of these blackouts. The other day my 1yr old was playing with the keyboard tray. Just sliding it in and out, nothing too bad, except that I was sittin g there getting hit by the tray. I picked him up, moved him out of the way,and proceeded to tear the desk apart. In the process knocking him down with parts of it.

I did not realize I did any of that until my wife told me about it. She was ready to leave with my son and I can't blame her. I pretty much cried all night.

The past week Ive been blacking out a lot. Nothing bad has been said about anything Ive done while blacked out. Supposedly I'm fully aware, just not able to acknowledge anything around me.. people or things. I am in counseling about it, which I hope works.

  4. passenger door lock

    sliding door lock

    rear view mirror

one part of my voltage meter (digital) is gone

bolts backed out of the glove box. They are the ones that hold the bottom of the headunit in

primer chips off every time I turn the system up (probably my painting skills though)

can't keep air in the air shocks. Too much weight back there.

But the van keeps on going

  5. I don't have a vid, but, like it a lot. A little painful getting hit in the back of the head with the bass. Now for the criticism...

Although it sounds good, especially on the bass, the mids and highs were almost non existant. Sounds like the actual music was recorded at a lower volume. Bring it up a little to match the bass better and it'll sound much better.

Could also be my systen though.

Hope to hear more in the future.
