Walls are fun to build. Will make you think quite a bit. I just got done with mine, pretty much. It was both a pain and fun, but it sound pretty good. I should have carpeted it, but oh well..

I HAVE to sleep with my computer on or else my room seems to quiet and the ringing gets to me.
Same here. My hearing is great (well, when I want it to be that is), but that ringing is crazy. Got to have something going so I'm not in dead silence.

Good luck on quitting. I'm soon to do the same thing. I keep trying, but fail miserably. I keep getting told that if you don't succeed the first time, try again. That's what I'm doing now, trying again.

Positive = copper, negative = silver (or whatever).
Not sure which is positive and negative on your car though. I presume you have a supra, what year?

You didn't come to a complete stop at the sign, did you? From the way I read it, you didn't. Supposed to come to a full complete stop (vehicle not moving) even if there is no traffic coming.
I've been given a few of them for the same thing.

Not sure if I'll be able to do the hooters thing since I'll be down there representing Team SouthEastSPL, Team Pinnacle, and I think Team SoundStream. Not sure If I made that last one though. Plus I don't drink or anything like that. Hell I could lose my job if caught in a place like that (just in case people don't know, I work for a substance abuse rehab, one of the largest in Florida).

I really liked my 154's, the get low and loud, they got stinky in the 10 cube box with 3k on each tuned to 35hz in my old astro
I haven't had any get stinky, yet. I have had some other problems with the 154s though. When I first got all 4 subs, one went out. The cone froze. Seems it was somehow dropped before I got it. I reconed that one and had to do a lot of realignment on everything. The second one that froze I had SS recone. Both of the subs looked as if they never had power to them, and I put one on an opti 4000d.
Later this season I'm planning on getting either the xxx-12000d or xxx-15000d. I might have to do a rebuild of everything since I'm also thinking about getting 4 of the new 15" xxx subs.
This build is mainly for sbn. It will have very little testing done on it before then.

I so need a few of those 16v batteries. Unfortunately they'll have to wait since I'm almost tapped out financially now. thanks god for being able to run a tab at a shop here.
And Ink is Ink. Doesn't matter if it's in a magazine, catalog, brochure, or anything else. You got printed, that's real good. You got printed AND on the same page (front cover at that) as Alan, Scottie, and Tommy. That is excellent.

Yea, it's been a bit crazy, but it's getting there. I couldn't have got this far if my team and sponsor(s) didn't kick me in the a$$ a little. I was gonna give up for a bit, but some people won't let me. That's definitely a good thing.
I just installed a strobe for the dome light, to annoy people. Seriously though.... It's going to be wired to the alarm eventually. May have to wait until after SBN though.
Now if I could just get some glassing skillz like you and I'd be pretty much set..

Thanks. Hopefully the new amp will be here before March 9th. There is a show in my area and I really want to be able to compete. At least that'll give me a little bit of testing before sbn. I may have to run the mojo amp though, depends on if SoundStream delivers on time.
4 splx-154 subs on the new XXX-4000d amp (for now) at 1ohm with a 16volt system. Still have a lot of work to do, which I'm supposed to be doing during lunch at work (or any other time I can while at work, supervisor privileges ftw). Trim panels, amp rack, alt and batteries install.

I wish I would have had build pics, but I've been doing this off and on for the past couple weeks. Work has been driving me crazy and I only get to do a little at a time. I realized today that I haven't took any pics since I primered the van, which sucked, so I took these just now.
Sure hope it does good, which we will see soon.

Well, some of you know what I was using. It wasn't that great, so..... let the pics speak.
Decided to reuse a box I had in the van before. I did get alright numbers with it before, but had technical difficulties also. I think we may have fixed that.
My mess. This is an under construction project so it may be messy for a little while. I luv them SPLXs. Other 2 are in the back still boxed up.

I changed out the headliner last week, if I remember right. Now I have a normal headliner instead of that fiberglassed one. I tried to seal off as best as possible up there. Don't think I'll have much of a problem.
Had to turn the camera a little bit to get this. It's the slider side of the enclosure. Bracing is not done yet though. I also have to seal it from the front.

Last 2 pics the primer was still wet. There are a lot of runs but I think I'll be able to wet sand them out. The driver side pic doesn't do justice, it look real good in person, well, for a rattle can job.
Why did I do this? I got tired of he way the van looked, was time for a change. Hopefully for the better.

Bass 305, Bass Syndicate, Bass Boy, Bass Cube, Beat Dominator, IBP. Power Supply, Quad Force, Bass Creations, Techmaster P.E.B., and of course Bass Mekanik.
I have just about all of bass mekanik. been looking for bass creations for quite a while now, without any luck. I just ran across power supply bass, boom, bottom and more bass, more boom, more bottom. Have at least one CD downloaded of all the others.
Looks for treasure finders online on Ebay. They usualy have at least 5 or 6 old school CDs for real cheap ($2.99 to $6.99)

It's not really supposed to be like the old show. Basically a new show doing a continuation of where the old one left off. Honestly, I liked it. Yea, it had some pretty bad parts, but all in all it was a decent show.
The actors have to grow into the roles. The car needs to get more attitude, and lose that hum-drum val kilmer voice. At least the original KITT had some enthusiasm. Yes, the car should have been something other than a mustang, but they did a pretty bang up job on it.
Was kind of suprised that Hasselholf did an appearance in this. It was a good thing that he did, but I really expected that to happen if after the show made it to series. From what I understand he'll probably be in charge of F.L.A.G. this time around.
It was also a good thing that they showed remnants of the firebird. I have a feeling we'll be seeing more of it, if the show actually makes it to series.
And I pretty much knew it was going to be a Ford product. If anybody that was really into watching the older series can remember, there was a prototype of the next KITT being built, it was a Ford. Can't remember exactly which episode though. May have to go through all my downloads and find it (yes, I have every episode of the old series downloaded)

Just go to. or have somebody go to Harbor freight and get you a cheap plunge router. It'll save you a bunch of headaches. I've tried cutting holes with stuff like linked. Yes it'll work, but it's a lot more than needed.

When I get pissed off I walk away until I can clear my mind. Doesn't always work though, but so far I've had good success with it. A walk around the block can do wonders

Just went through this, well, still going through it but doing better. Been off work since last Tuesday. It's just a bug and will go away with plenty of... rest, juice, soup, cough medicine, pain pills, decongestant, vodka, and Kleenex. Seems like I've spent half my paycheck on trying to get better, and haven't got the doctor bill yet.
If it just started, you may have a few days of pure hell to go through. I'm feeling better today but still congested and my Equal Librium is off. Ears are popping everytime I sneeze or blow my nose.

I also got mine in Feb. Used it to get a SoundStream xxx-4000d, which I'm still waiting on. Also used it to pay off some other bills (powermaster 18v 350amp alternator, 16 8volt batteries, and a memphis mojo 2000 watt amp)
Now I'm waiting to see if I get that other money from the IRS in the next couple months. That may go for 4 more splx-154 subs and another xxx-4000d amp.
