It is just from the tweets, there is no cuts in the power wire either! wtf! what do you mean ground my rcas?

Ive swapped RCAs, regrounded amps, and swapped amps.. still same issue.. no idea what to do

OH well that is how i have it grounded right now... I can still hear my engine through the tweeters.. i dont know what to do...

I am trying to finish the big three upgrade on my 2002 Ford explorer (4.0 sohc0 and i seem to find out how to ground the alternator? i have a spot picked out on the chassis but do not know where to hook the wire up onto the alternator..

That is extremely addicted to SMD Forum am I? I use to skateboard, ride my bike, do homework... But now all seem to be doing is browsing through SMD forums hours on end.. In all seriousness, the forum is awesome! It has taught me so much and provided me with soooo much help... I just thought I would share my opinion and thank everyone that has helped me with my problems.
Oh and is there a way i can rep the stevemeadedesigns.com logo on my ride?

I had a bad bass boost knob that made my amp cutout, do not know if that happens often but you can unplug it and check.

Hell yeah it pounds, these are my only subs i have purchased and they have done me good... I will post record some videos if anyone wants to see some. And it is a 4.0, ill get some pics of the big 3..

Notice how i avoided the question of what its tuned to. That is because i don't know... -.-.
And i never rebuilt the box i just added an other outside layer of MDF and ported it because the box was huge in the first place... I guess im just gonna seal it up and call it a day.

Read the sub box last night and realized they are ment for sealed enclosures.... Wowzer.... Could i just get a piece of MDF to seal up the port or does it need to be taken out?

My old sealed box use to hit lows super good. After building a slightly bigger ported box it seems to hit highs more than lows.. Seems like i have to set all the gains to higher hertz to get loud now... idk..

Had a Sony head unit that would over heat pushing one 5x7... Seems like Sony's have a tendency to overheat...

Does this rumbling hurt the subs? I'll see what the problem is tomorrow.

Some cheap kenwood that i got for free. I had to re-solder the RCA legs back the the board though cause the solders were broken. I am pretty sure it makes no noise when i remove the RCA's but ill check in the morning.

Nah, no whine. Its just when i skip songs and waiting for it to play i hear rumbling.

I have one more important question i forgot to mention. When i am changing songs i can hear thumping from the subs as a change songs. Or when there is not a bass tone playing i can still hear noise coming from the subs. It bugs the hell out of me.
