yes, increasing port area will in return cause the need for the port to be longer to achieve a lower frequency.
inverting woofers will increase box volume and lowering the tuning a tad because the ratio between internal airspace and port area has decreased. So lets just put it like this, if you are to invert your woofers it will increase box volume, decrease inches of port per cubic foot, and lower tuning a tad.
-
you can add external ports to lower tuning

there is a car show tomorrow at bella vista high school i think it starts a 11 and goes to like 6 or something like that

Alright I'm looking for an amp(s) that can produce 1500-2500 watts at 1 ohm @ 18v. What can we come up with?
I know the saz-1500 fits the category. What else.?
-
Set the amp with the remote pluged in and turned all the way up.

Go to an automotive glass shop and buy some of the glue they use on windshields.

I'm just letting you know that this is making me get off of my ass and getting back to working on my truck.

Micheal Hughes recommends port on the bottom.

Lol yeah you'd be better off calling him bro. Lol

Take out the stock air box and you can hang 4 alts over there.

I mean I have a Dakota so I know I weeeee bit about those trucks lol. But 4 12s would be jammim like drew said
-
I'd do some spl lvl 5 15"ers lol I know someone with a pair for you.

Yes I concer with oldschool. Bandpasses will take you longer to fine tune it The ported box will work out great you could even shrink the box volume a little on the ported box. I'd say around 5 5.5 per woofer. With 16-21 inchs of port per cubic foot

Tuning the front chamber to octaves almost never works. But if it's not a bigger build you will not know. 4th and 6th order require a lot of work to see the gain in porting the front chamber. I am building a 6th order for some 15s ATM in my truck

3 cubes with 54 inchs of port tuned to whatever you want

Where's pics of the baskets?

Rusty has a couple sweet black dc t-shirts with a white logo

Nice truck choice.

If the port area is super small the box will start to act like it's sealed and won't see it's gain at tuning freqencies. Just a little fyi. Tommy and rios boxes arent just ported boxes either.

LINK ME! Lmao I wanna sit in the jeep or the "stormtrooper" one day I don't know much about each build. Lawlz

could have drilled it out and re tapped the battery post.
Changing the tuning by adding external port length.

its the same calculations as before, but now you have extra room to play with on the port instead of making the port longer and shrinking the box.
