i would just get it and keep your stock for now but what year dakota i have a 01 club cab
-
what did you end up making the port from?
-
almost as bad as when i got an amp from canada customs ripped the cover off and scratched the hell out of it.
-
the cart links dont work just list what your talking about
-
-
lol this is where some guys use duct tape to seal it up. i wouldnt really do that but it will work
-
oh and glass the whole thing not just the joints
-
i dont like working with ply myself. not hating on ply but i just prefer mdf. resin will make a huge difference. itll seal everything up and will help with stiffness
-
damn! thats clean but now you gotta get to buildin!
-
better order up before there all gone!! lol
-
you could get a piece of sheetmetal and do it yourself. That's what everyone I know has done. Most people know someone that works in a factory and can five-finger-discount you some sheetmetal.
thats what i did

2 dc lvl 4 xls would fit you just fine find an amp that can do 1500@1 ohm and get two of them
-
look at t3 audio jd is a good guy

haha good to hear you are moving on!
-
i really like the look if you can stay on the upkeep. lol
-
does it have the wood bed?
-
wayyy too much mucking around! I think the motor wouldn't fit in the space i have available anyway, so thart crosses it off the list.
I really want to see some beefy BL's or LVL4's in action, tunned low and with loads of power on them!!!
(so i'm pretty much lookin at a minimum of 1500WRMS for the sub of choice, coz i don't have much cone area, mayswell have a fair wak of power aye!!!)
id say go with the xls then
-
you would have to cut the baffle at the sub hole. so sub hole it inhalf and then put woofer in. youd have to cut the box to get it out.
-
Invert them or build a split baffle.
x2
-
you could go with 2 dc lvl 5 10. lol the xls are crazy too
Port Size

fi says 12-16 sq inchs of port for every cube in the box but you can get away with a little smaller
