ight current box and im definatl not happy with it

    5.36 cubes 37hz 73 inch of port one 3500 saz at 0.7

    30hz 1.8ohms reactive 17xx watts

    35hz 2.1ohm reactive 16xx watts

    40hz 2.6ohms reactive 14xx

ohm rise might be off i dont have exact specs but they are close

  2. I don't really see a point in doing more than 1 3/0 run or even 1 2/0 run
if his amp is drawing 200 amps then one run 1/0 is sufficient enough
No need for all that wiring on a dat2500. A single run of 1/0 would do just fine.

And as for one of your questions. Amp negative to battery negative is best.

over kill ftw! never hurt anything by adding more wire, as long as its done right.

if it were me id lose the fuses but thats me. i would atleast lose one of the fuses on each strand no need for both they add resistance as well

  3. They are infinite baffle sub woofers, meaning they have a different QTS, or suspension stiffness. They can handle more power than a regular subwoofer in an infinite baffle setup because they have a suspension stiffness that allows them to handle being run in an enclosure that is usually very large. I couldn't tell you about Fs, but it's not like you can tune an IB setup to a certain frequency, you're just kinda working with your trunk... Generally speaking though, a well constructed IB setup has an extremely flat response from 20 - 60 Hertz. My setup is IB.

    very good info

  4. Same old shit different day bro, finally getting back to normal since I fucked my back up a few weeks ago... But let me check my storage unit tomorrow on my way home from work, I should have a few older 8" pvc flares + aluminum ones. I'll let u know though and if I have them, then they're all yours just cover shipping since I'm not using them right now.

    very cool... lmk

  5. Move the subwoofer as far away from port as possible and I'd up the box size to at least 4.5-4.8ft3, especially since this is a daily box. Also make sure to brace plenty, resin, 45s, etc... I'd also suggest using like a single 8" aero, external if u can fit it or even half in, half out.

whats up bro? lol you feel like making some 8 inch plares for me?

  6. I already have a post for a box if you could look at it for me that would be awesome.

    link? im lazy

i would def move the sub as far from the port as possible...like u said

and that small box for an 18? granted i know about zero about the subs...seems super small though..

3.5 is insane small for an 18"...unless it's a fart box i guess...

    3.25!!

and i aint building a damn fart box, i guess ima have to buy some wood and we can see whats up
