There is your wiring diagram :)

As for modules look into a PLJX to do your passlock2 bypass for remote start... or a 555L will work also.

Shyne151 i have to say you are the mutha fuckin man!!! you obviously know your shit... thank you very much

  5. ok guys, i know there are some guys on here that know their shit whhen it comes to this stuff...

im thinking about attempting to install my alarm in my blazer. its a 2001 xtreme. what all do i need for the installation? are there any extra modules i need for the remote start to work? where can i get a wiring diagram? ive never attempted an alarm before and im kinda nervous but i want to learn how so i dont hav to depend on a shop to do my alarms. i appreciate any help...

the alarm is a viper 5900 w/ remote start. thanks again

EDIT: i had this on a 2003 taurus and i havnt touched it since i took it out of there. i cut all the wires where they were soldered into the factory wires. i dont know if that is relevant or not but i thought i would mention it.

  6. my daughter and my "baby momma" have teamed up against me FTL and i havent seen her in 4 months. She is old enough to be a wise-ass and is starting to act like her damn loser mom. Some of the things she said to me cant be taken back so as far as im concerned, until she apologizes, she is just a child support check to me for the REMAINING 10 months. Their, yes i said THEIR favorite thing to do is to threaten me with child support court everytime they dont get their way.......and im tired of walking on eggshells. My childsupport is 100% caught up and paid for so im good, i just hate that bitch (baby momma) and dont want to go to court again.

sucks for me because i KNOW im a kick-ass dad....she would be hooked up PROPER (even more then normal) if she didnt do what she did.....

when your not the custodial parent in a situation like i am in, its tough. The "full time" parent is the boss and has you buy the BALLS till they turn 18. Thank goodness i have 10 months of my sentence left over and someday when she grows up she will realize what a mistake she made.

i know already TMI, but i had to vent a little -

i feel ya on the baby mama drama... i dont get along with my daughters mom either. luckily tho, my daughter doesnt care for her stepdad and wants to come live with me. so when shes old enuf to make that decision she will. until then i sit back, pay my support and smile knowing ill hav the last laugh. keep ypur head up tho bro, your daughter will realize one day that she did you wrong.

BTW, i know this post is a few months old but i just seen it today and i had to reply...

  7. You don't need to. I have three runs of 0 gauge + and 3 runs of 0 gauge - running from the front battery to the back batteries.. Also the back batteries are grounded to the frame. Can NEVER have too much grounding action going on in your truck (unless it's positive wire grounding action.... that's no good).

    Can't hurt, that's for sure.

ok, well so far i have a run of + going from the front batt to the back batt. the back batt is grounded to the frame. i ended up "undoing" my big 3 and found out i have ALOT less voltage drop(can you explain that?). so im thinking that i may hav done my big 3 wrong. at least the grounding portion of it.(its kinda hard to fuck up the positive side of it) so im gonna mess with that again tommorrow. im just worn out with this engine/alt noise and really im about to give up on it and rip everything back out. all this high power shit is new to me. back when i was into this shit before, it was a single battery upfront and that was good enough. multiple batts and h/o alts and big 3's are new to me so im doing my best to learn all this stuff. anyhow, sorry for the rant and i do appreciate yours and everyone elses help...

  8. OK, In my Sonoma...

    Eng Block to Frame.

same spot on frame to - of front battery.

    Rear batteries to frame

All Rear batteries also to - of front battery

Hed some eng noise, but it ended up being the ground fron the head unit... Ran that straight to the front battery as well.

thanks pstone im gonna try that. but just so we are clear, i need to run a neg from front batt to back batt?
