So i need another T1500-1bd. Either do that or get two T115D2? whats your opinion guys, I know theres a 400Wrms between the T1 and T2 and i know there would be a substantial difference. But another $1000 to my budget hurts. But in the meantime i can get 1 T215D2 and 1 T1500-1bd amp and run that untill i can afford for the other two.
Or get two Power Series subs but dual 4 ohm. And one T-1500 (which usually gets about 1700-1800 watts) each sub will be powered nicely. That will put your amp's ohm load at 1 so more wattsss

I like my Pioneer Deh-P6000 ub it has a usb connect for an ipod and it has a subwoofer killswitch and everything is adjustable I would go for that. And im selling mine so, shoot me a pm if your interested.

Pics of amps and what ever would help

Do you all own your own TL SPL Meter or what? Or are you going to places to get your system measured?
Where are some good places to go to get a sound system measured?
Most people on here use Termlab. I would go to your local shop to get it measured, mine has one, BUT its broken right now.

splitting, 500 rms, they will be gettin more tho, fosgate amps are nice and under rated

Hey all
I'm planning and saving for my first build in my car soon and am a bit confused with ohms and the amplifier output
Ok, i will put this in the simplest way i can
The amp:
Rockford fosgate T1500-1bd
500W x 1 @ 4-Ohms RMS
1000W x 1 @ 2-Ohms RMS
1500W x 1 @ 1-Ohm RMS
The subs:
2x Rockford fosgate T215D2 - 1000WRMS
Impedance 2-Ohm x 2
1000 Watts RMS
2000 Watts Max
This is what i want them set up as, (2) 2 Ohm DVC speakers = 2 Ohm load
Now what i'm confused with is that the amp sais 1000W x 1 @ 2-Ohms RMS, does that mean that both of the 15" will be receiving 1000Wrms each or split between each other (500Wrms)
thanks
500 watts each, just cuz its wired that way doesnt mean itll double the said output. But great choice of amp. RF FTW

Here you go, http://www.caraudiohelp.com/car_audio_inst...ler_schools.htm
Hope it helps
Sorry just read you wanted one close to Illinois, I think those might be the only one though, not 100% sure though.
Yeah it helps, but it sucks that theres not one "close" to illinois.

I have been looking around on the internet, but Havent had much success? links would help

i was talking about the p-4900dvd not being good. its very cheap quality. and if i saw right walmart has that one(cheesy flipout) on sale right now...well the one by me does
So your saying the p4100 is the way to go?
-
yes 2.2 volts,i wouldnt get that one save your money look around.
Yeah ok, the h/u i have now the Deh-p6000ub, is 4 volt with 3 sets of rca's, so i guess 4 volts is the way to go. I am gonna get this one, my friend from the shop is thinking of buying my pioneer and my old T-1000. So thats about the entire payment. Oh and we are talking about this one being the shit right?
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_17374_...-P4100DVD.html#

thats a big downgrade for a few bucks less, just to keep your bass knob location. the double din is 4 volt. that one is 2.2, you will be better buying a jensen or dual. another bad thing is if you dont want your screen out. you have no display on that flip out.
The Rca's are 2.2 volts? is that what you mean? would it be that big of a difference? i really want the flipout now that i know it has all the Rca's
-
Here is a flip out with 3 sets of preouts
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_8865_P...-P4900DVD.html#
wow shit man thanks alot i could of sworn i looked at all of them. Definitly considering this now, cuz if i get this then i can keep my bass knob location and all that goodness.
-
if you can get the listed one for 430 new shipped get it thats below wholesale. and its a good unit, im working on getting one for myself.
Well im hesitant about getting one off ebay, for about 430-450 shipped. And idk about sonicelectronix.com DO you guys have any info on them, i have read some reviews and it seems legit. Any suggestions would help.
-
he wants something very cheap in price.
well not amazingly cheap, maybe 300-500. So the Avh-P4100dvd is my best fitting choice as of right now for what i need it for. But any others for cheaper will be nice though
-
Your hard to follow I am confused and you must be too....are you familiar with any other units besides the 4100? are you aware that other units have 3 sets of outputs too!!!!
Please show me man i would really apprieciate it. I have looked at every Pioneer H/U (that plays dvds) and alpine and jenson. Link me please
-
ok..... read thread title and saw this
so u created this thread for no reason?? do you do drugs?
No i put this up cuz i couldnt find a flip out DVD player with 3 sets of Rca outs. The Avh-p4100dvd has these Rca's. (what i have been looking for) I dont want to buy a processor or any "brains" Pretty much i wouldnt mind a Double Din, however it has the rca outs that i need. It will do and i made this to see if anyone had one they were willing to part with soonish for less than every where else... Sorry for the misunderstanding or me not knowing how to word things corectly
Oh and no i dont do drugs. lol

My old Rockford Fosgate T-1000. Pm me if your interested and ill give you a price
-
IIRC, they are a brand new model. Either way, I haven't seen a price that goes much lower than 490-500. There may be a place on the internetz, but I haven't found it.
i checked ebay and its about 430. I dont want a double din, i want a flip out but none that are in my budget have the 3 sets of rca outs..
-
ok..... do you want someone to buy it for you?
i kid i can get you one bnib for 475 shipped
Well this wont be for awhile, i was just seeing if anyone had one cheaper.... Oh well its good
-
I really want to find one of these. Its about 500 on sonicelectronix.com
-
using this method you may not be able to control the sub directly from the H/U, but instead u could use a bass knob for the sub, so that your h/u controls ur mids/highs, and than your bass remote controls the sub level (thats if it compatible for your amp). if you really want to control the sub from the h/u i would recommend looking at a different unit that has more rca inputs
Yeah, well on my pioneer right now, i have a kind of "kill Switch", that im sure most of the pioneers have. Why couldnt pioneer just make that touch screen with three sets of Rca outs. I just want all the little things i have now with my H/U, with a dvd player touch screen. (that was my original plan)
I guess they have this one
http://pioneerusa.com/PUSA/Products/CarAud...rs/AVH-P4100DVD
Its got 3 rca outs. Maybe.....
-
yes thats exactly what i meant, you should be able to do this. what mids/highs amp are you using? there all different
Ok, I am using Mb Quarts. 4 channel amp and speakers 4 tweets and 4 5-1/4" woofers. Are you sure that ill be able to control the sub from the H/U if the RCA's arent plugged directly into the H/U?
Perhaps you could run speaker-level inputs to your mid/high amps? How do you do that? The High lvl input ?
-
yes, on your front and backstage amps there should be "output" rca's, run your rca's from your front stage output to your front stage input and there you go. or you could get something like the maxxsonics maxxlink where it matches the 2 amps together, but im not sure if thats what your looking for.
What? You mean From H/U run 4 channel Rca's to 4 channel amp. From 4 channel Amp run a 2 channel Rca to the sub amp? I want to be able to control the subwoofer settings from the H/U. Would i still be able to do this? I found this alpine Thing, but i want the pioneer H/U. Heres the alpine
http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/products/p...?model=PXA-H100
I am pretty sure you can only use this with the imprint compatible Cd players
OR Find me a H/U with built in dvd, (double or single din) idc. With 3 sets or Rca outs
