  1. you can always pick it up at the hubb......And theyll hold it for 3 days after last attempt so you can pick it up do you not have transportation to the hubb?

I know that is always an option, but it came @ the worst time. I work today 5-11, tmm 4-9 (get out of school @ 3:20) and saturday they are only open till 3 (I think) and i work 11-4. So, Idk what im gonna do, but I'm just pissed cuz You know how excited one of us ca people get a package, and I get home expecting 2 and I have 2 notes hanging on my door. Kind of pissed me off.

  2. There was something on the UPS site when I was awaiting my amp to get here which required a signature, and on a part of the UPS site it said if you cannot be there to receive it, leave a note saying to take it to your neighbor and have them sign for it, I left UPS a note, and told my neighbor and they took it over there and allowed my neighbor to sign for it

That only works for certain packages, some allow you to, but the two that I am getting require signature at the delivery and if you looked on the back of the notice that they leave you then it says in bold, "Will leave @ neighbors only if .........." My two packages are sig required @ delivery. So the neighbors wont work.

  3. So I have been getting in about a package a day for 2 weeks, with no problems using various shippers (USPS, FedEx, and one from UPS), However the 2 "most important" packages aka the last two are required signitures @ delivery, meaning no deliver to neighbor. I Physically cant be there, I am in High School and I may need to skip school JUST to get some packages. My mom works full time and theres no one home to accept delivery. I keep leaving notes, telling them to leave it and I will accept responsibility if anything happens to it and I call the UPS Hub and nothing. I even know the person who delivers here in my small town (from my old neighborhood) But it just annoys the shit out of me becuase if no one signs for it tmm, then it gets returned to sender meaning a week- 2 before I get my sub and my battery. I usually enjoy the services of the UPS, but this is getting rediculus, I NEED this and idk if ill be able to be here. I again left a note, but I'm not too excited to see the outcome.

    Sum Bitch

  4. I vote a really nice person should send this guy some 8 gauge for his subs ( I wish I could but I have none) and in return he writes xxx (Name of person who gives wire) is the shit. On the inside of the box.......................................Seems fair to me, you know just so he can test to see if the wire/solder is truley the problem.

Arent you friends with Noobtastic doesnt he always have some type of wire around his garage (from what I've read, and not been in his garage or watching while he sleeps   )

    jk thats immature. :D

  5. Eat right, do a lot of cardio and weigh train at the same time... These are the basic steps to losing weight and turning fat into muscle. Most people who have high body fat content will gain muscle right off the bat and not see the immediate weight loss because your body is just simply converting fat to muscle. But you gotta understand that muscle will burn calories faster/more efficiently than fat will.

Creatine isn't taken to help out with muscle aches btw. I'll send u a PM in a minute with sum tips that might help with muscle soreness following workouts.

Actually "turning muscle into fat" is a complete myth, they are too completly different things. Gaining muscle and losing fat will have the effect of appearing that you lost 0 lbs on the scale because you didnt lose any. You gain a little muscle and lost more fat. Since muscle is more dense it weighs more, but you cant "convert" the two. :D

  6. The little bit is not going to matter at all, you can literately take your dmm directly to the speaker coil and test the ohms, then wire it up thru the bolts and wire, and see no change in ohms.

There is not that much current going thru the bolts, I mean there is, but there is no heat so you dont have to worry about the carpet catching on fire.

Stainless steel is the correct bolts/nuts/washers to use because it does not corrode like regular bolts or even copper (tho copper is a better conductor it does corrode and it costs a lot more) Not to mention finding said things may get kinda hard locally unless you order from the internet.

Again on your impedance rise question, no this shouldnt effect it one bit as long as everything is tight and secure. Its no different really then using a speaker cup with push terminals or banana style plugs. You will be fine. Most your impedance rise will be box rise, and maybe if you run to small of a gauge of speaker wire and have it really long (longer then needed! Like 20feet of 16 gauge wire to hook the subs up when you only need 2feet). But be sure to at least use a quality 12 or 10 gauge speaker wire.

Hope that answers everything for you!

Edit: stay away from aluminum bolts just as I said above they will corrode!!

Thank you very much answered all my ?'s, Ill be using 8 gauge for speaker wire, The subs are AQ HD's, and I have never wired a sub with direct connects. Any Tips on connecting the 2 wires together or some 8 gauge coupler type deal?

  7. 1. Will the current flow cause a problem with the carpet? (ex heat causing fire or burning of the carpet)

I doubt it but i'd put a washer under the wire and then the nut over it so the wire doest touch the carpet

    2. The nuts and bolts are all Stainless Steel, is that ok for this use?

    Yes

    3. Will these affect the ohm load that the amp sees? (imp rise?)

    No idea...

Well I was Thinking of this, on the outside of the box, it would go washer, nut, Ring, Nut
