  1. Yes the 135 is VERY VERY possible, ill be very surprised if you dont. I have the same sub, Fi 12" Fully Loaded but im running about 1750 watts rms.

My advice is run a bigger box like, 2.5 cubez @ about 33-37 hz, this sub does play the lows well, but doesnt like the low lows like 27 htz and below. Im @ 32 hz and I love it. Pm me if you have anymore ?'s

And your cabin is smaller than mine, so that score should be very doable

  2. yes, the upcut bit is probably better if you are using a router table (where the router is upside down and the "UPCUT" bit is actully pulling the dust DOWN) - the DOWN cut bit will probably be better if you are going all the way thru with a hand router and doing something like a speaker cut-out... but im not so sure about that if you are only going part way thru though. Its probably fine, i have never used one - i like eating MDF dust :D The Router table is on my list from Santa though :)

From the man himself :D the only reason I considered changing was i saw it in one of your posts. This thing gonna go through the 3/4" MDF all the way like butter in one pass? I would like that.

  3. You can get 4/0 pure copper welding wire for the same price as the 1/0 knu stuff, and the only difference is a little flexibility.

EDIT: Also, welding wire has less strands than knu so there is less resistance and better current flow.

This is completley false, more strands means less resistance and better current flow or else you could use 8 guage for anything becuase technically it has less strands. Just get the Knuconceptz

  4. thanks man, yea like i said im not good at guessing i am pretty sure ill get higher than a 143, but after broken in maybe a little higher, and by the way this is going to be in the trunk not walled :)

Shit im hitten higher than a 143 :D you better get higher than me. My 142.1 was with a stiff ass sub on music, Now im gonna burp that bitch @ 39 htz. :)

Im happy as hell that you got your car, and now let me START WORKING! I am ready for this shit to be in and beatin. Start writing my check for everything and it will be done in no time :D .

PS GET ON AIM for a little :give_rose:

  5. A good idea is to start a new box, and dont use the RE calculator that is so off it aint funny.

Search for Exposports calculator on SMD.

Actually I tested it a couple times between both calcs, they're the same, but the Re doesnt account for displacements of the sub or 45s, or braces. So just use the ExpoSport Calc because it does :D

  6. I think that this is a good game if you dont already have halo 3. I sold my 360 6 months back and just bought the elite and ODST friday. And its the shit, i love that the halo 3 disc came with all the maps so you dont need to buy them just to play online. I love firefight havent had the time to try it with someone else, but its definitly a challenge by ones self.

Anyone wanna play halo 3 online my gt is : Crump on3

  7. uh, how you do get the signal from the deck (with no rca's) to the amp while keeping the functionality of all of the existing speakers?

you have an Aftermarket deck with rcas? and run them to the amp? My deck has no speakers attached to it, but I used the existing wires in the car and those run to the amp. So its like from the harness from the CAR is attached to my amp so i didnt have to run new wires through each door. Or you can just run wires to all the speakers. I dont see the problem here.

  8. idk if it has been said (didnt read EVERY post), but You could just plug in the necessary wires to turn the unit on. Ground 12v Constant, Ignition turn on. and just leave the speaker wires unplugged and have an external amp. Then no use for all that converter bs, and aftermarket unit is a dream compared to all that other shit. And he wont regret having the aftermarket. Just my .02
