  1. Yes you can but you didnt list what options your getting with it you can give it 3k but it [mainly depends on setup and encloure]. Dont expect to get a huge enclosure around 7.5-10 cuft. giving it 3000 rms or else your [sub will unload causing the voicecoil to slam against the backplate making it bottom out destructively!!!]. I know you dont want that!!! But get the enclosure around 6-6.5 cuft and you will be fine. Im giving mine 3500 rms on a AQ3500D and the enclosure maybe will be 6.5 cuft (After displacement and after port). Like I said 3k is possible as long as your smart and know what your doing.Dont forget to set the gain right and subsonic filter and you should be cool :)

Some steps you need to follow:

Do big 3 (Beef up electricial system)

Get 2nd Battery Invest in a HO Alternator

  2. If money is tight stick to the SSD 18's you wont be sorry dont keep looking around for other subs that just cost a little more because it will throw you off but The SSD's own the cvrs by a long shot bud but it mainly depends on the setup [99% the enclosure].If space is'nt a option get a enclosure like this its called

"THE WICKED ONE HORN ENCLOSURE" It may look weird but I know this guy that has 2 10'' pioneer subs (350 rms a piece) thats hitting 140-143db with this enclosure (4 cuft) and the 2 10's get as deep as his 15'' Kicker CVX (6.5 cuft)!! Just depends on the enclosure!!!!

  3. Nice chioce of amps I Plan on getting the AQ3500D!! :). But heres the answer fi coils dont actually sit at what they are stated to be... ex: dual 1 ohm coils are actually .7 - dual 2 ohm coils are actually 1.5. so you can either get the dual 1 ohm (.7) and wire in series to a 1.5 ohm load (I recommend), or you can get the dual 2 ohm (1.5) and wire in parrallel to a .7 ohm load.

    ''Hope This Helepd!"

  4. First of all what amp is it going to be tied to because IDK wether to list d2 or d1 because you didnt list your amp. But other than that get every option except pick daliy (NOT SPL) and dont get extreme lead, universal, and P-chamfer (Get cooling. "P-Chamfer"comes with cooling) And you should be good!!

But if your into comps, farts, burps ETC. choose SPL (NOT DAILY) Extreme lead option

What kinda enclosure? what size? tuned to ?

How much space do you have? (If not enough space for BTL bump down to BL,Q,SSD,Or IB3,

    Whats your budget?

Have you gotten anything together yet with your vehicle?

Have you done big 3 (Beef up electricial system)

Get a 2nd battery Buy HO Alternator

    What kinda amp?

    Whats your main goal?

    ''Hope This Helped!''

  5. If your getting one and if space is'nt a option get the enclosure made 2 cuft after displacement and after port. Tune to 33hz for max preformance.Give it its recommended power to stay on the safe side.

Is copper coil the only option?

What amp is it going to be tied to?

What vechicle is it going to be in?

    Dual 1 Ohm,Dual 2 Ohm?

Depending on the car you should'nt have to upgrade anything. But a extra battery will do fine if money is'nt a option!

  6. If you want BOOOM BOOOM bass but still has good SQ then strictly go with the Q. But if you dont really care about Sq just bass go with the BL. What are you tuning them to? Which ever subs you get since space isnt a option get enclosure built to about 7-8 cuft. If you get the Q's Tune it to 32hz. If you get the BL's Tune to 32-34hz. or just do you.Whatever subs you get try to get them fully loaded if money is'nt a option.

  7. As you know this is my setup (I just posted it for people who didnt know)

This is my (Soon To Come) setup is it good or not?

    SUB:(1) 18'' Fi.BTL (Fully Loaded) D2,cooling,hixm coil,induct heat ring,daily

    AMP:(1) AudioQue 3500D (3500 Rms @ 1 Ohm!! & BTL's are recommended @ 2000 Rms) [is the amp good or what?]

its getting the whole 3500 rms

    http://www.audioque.com/aq/AQ3500D.htm

    http://www.audioque.com/aq/images/AQ3500D/AQ3500Dguts.jpg

    (4) Screws for terminals (Better solid connection no leaks)

Enclosure:(1) [Ported] 6 Cuft. (After displacemant) Tuned to 32hz. (MAYBE) 3/4 MDF

Thats my setup but my main question is how much of a db differnce is a enclosure thats tuned to 32hz. from a enclosure thats tuned to 34hz. I love loud music but I want it to get deep as well (I'm not spl just daily) so whats best?

For A lucky quess do you think I'll hit @ leats 149db's if tuned to 34hz.

Do you think I should get removable ports like 27hz,32 hz,33hz,35hz, or dont do that just keep a regular port?

P.S:This is my budget so please dont ask for anything more expensive

  8. You should be fine with 6.5 cubes. If you were under-powering or running right around the RMS of the sub then I'd go with a larger enclosure.

I Was Going To Get The Enclosure 8.6 Cuft. (After Displacement) But They Said Thats Too Much Power For A Enclosure That Big Because Im Running The Whole 3500 Rms So I'll Have To Bump Down To 6 Cuft. (After Displacement) So I Wont Blow The Sub.

  9. Hi Its Me Again As You Know I Plan On Buyin (1) Fully Loaded BTL As You Can See On All My Other Questions But Somehow On Youtube This Guy Got One Of My Questions And Told Me My Setup Will Be Plenty Loud Since My Enclosure Is 6 Cuft. (After Displacement) But Make The Internal Voulme 8.5 And Not The External. Should I Do That Or Keep The Whole Enclosure 6 Cuft? Will It Make A Differerence Like Will It Be Louder Or No Difference @ All If I Make My Enclosure The Way He Said? Please Answer. I'm Open For All Answers!!

P.S:If You Need Info. About My Subs + Setup Please Fell Free To Ask And I Will Post It On Here.

  10. What theyre saying is in an 8 cube box 3500rms is a little too much power, the box size helps control the subwoofer. In a big box the sub can move a lot more freely so with that much power it will eventually destruct it due to mechanical failure (voice coil slapping the back plate). If youre going to stick with 3500 rms then you need about 6 cubes like they said. if you wanna keep it at 8 cubes then go with less power to keep the sub safe.

Just Curious If It Was You What Would You Pick: 8.6 Cuft. Little Power Or 6 Cuft (After Displacement) All The Power/??

  11. the electrical aspect won't affect the enclosure (except when it comes to room) More voltage doesn't mean bigger box

So What Does That Mean Can I Keep The 8.6 Cuft Ft. Enclosure Still Using 3500 Rms Or Will I Have To Stay With The 6 Cuft. Enclosure I'll Be Happy If I Can Keep The Big Enclsoure. If Not 8.6 Cuft. Which I Want Whats My Max. Still Giving It 3500 Rms??

  12. From you other thread that got deleted...

No one can tell you how loud you will be, its all in the vehicle and install, and your second enclosure is still to large for the power you will be giving it provided you upgrade your electrical...

So what are you electrical planned upgrades b/c your not going to run either of those setups on a stock battery....your gonna need a HO alt and batteries.....or atleast a few big batteries (not optimas)

Now I Already Know About The Alternators Batterys Big 3 Battery Isolators ETC. I Plan On Gettin One Or Two Iraggi 300amp. HO Alternators And 1 Kinetik HC 2400. Now Since You Said 6.7 Cuft. Is Still Too Big Then How About 6 Cuft. Even (After Displacemant)? When I Get My Electrical System Updated ETC. Will 6.7 Still Be Too Big Or Can I Move It Up To About 7-7.6 Cuft.?

  13. if you make the enclosure around 6 cu ft you can tune to play low notes. yes the audio place can set the gains and all that so you wont kill your sub. as for getting one big amp for around $638, look around bro ........ or look into the AQ2200d ($379 shipped), Hifonics 2608d and many other for around $600 .......

I've Just Seen A New Amp Which Amp Is Better

    Two Hifonics Brutus BXi 2008d's

    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_12120_...+BXi+2008D.html

    Or One AudioQue 3500D

    http://www.audioque.com/aq/AQ3500D.htm

  14. yea, sorry if i was unclear

bad things happen if the box is too large, physical damage mostly.

decrease the size closer to 6 and it should be fine, use a subsonic filter

Okay Is It Possible That I Can Run Both Of Those Amps & Still Get A Decent 1 Ohm Load? Im Going To Get Everything Installed Professionally

"Custom Sounds" Maybe. Now I Know Even If One Amp Is Off By A Lil It Will Kill My Sub But Cant The Audio Place Equal Them Out So It Wont Hurt My Sub? One More Thing Since Im Giving It Alot Of Power Will It Still Get As Deep And Loud In A 6 Cuft. Enclosure As It Would've If I Kept The 8.6 Cuft. Enclosure?

P.S:If I Cant Use Both Amps To One Sub Can You Find Me A Amp Thats Just As Good That Puts Out That Same Amount Of Power If Not More? This Was The Total Of The 2 Amps: 638.12 (Shipping Included!)

  15. This Is My (Soon To Come) Setup Is It Good Or Not?

    SUB:(1) 18'' Fi.BTL (Fully Loaded):D2,Cooling,HiXm Coil,Induct Heat Ring,Daily Option.

    AMP:(Two) Hifonics Brutus BXi 2008D (2000 Rms @ 1ohm,Overrated So Maybe 1700 Or 1800 Rms @ 1ohm Total 3600 Rms & Fi.BTL's Are Recommended @ 2000 Rms)

    (4) Screws For Terminals (Better Solid Connection No Leaks)

Enclosure:(1) [Ported] 8.6 Cuft. (After Displacemant) Tuned To 32hz. 3/4 MDF

    Will That Be Loud?

Also How Deep Would It Get For One Sub With A Enclosure That Big?

For A Lucky Quess Do You Think I'll Hit @ Leats 145db's If Not A Little Over?

P.S:This Is My Budget So Please Dont Ask For Anything More Expensive

I Appreciate You Reading This Message Please Answer :)
