Yeah I know so what do you think. 5 hc2400's is good or not.
-
You'll likely be much happier with 4-6 quality AGM batteries capable of producing large amounts of current. Some suggestions are Stinger, North Star, XS Power...
Ok thanks I'll look forward into that but I might back off on that batcap battery do you think 5 hc2400 kinetiks would be enough to power one stetsom 14K2D all day everyday because each hc2400 has 2600 amps and im buying five of them so that would be a total of 13000 amps.
-
If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
So you think I should stick with the four kinetiks and would that be enough to power one of those amps all day everyday?
-
I plan on gettin either a Stetsom 11K2D or a Stetsom 14K2D. I was going to buy about four or five kinetik 2400's but I seen this battery. Is this ONE battery "Strong Enough" to power a Stetsom 11K2D or 14K2D all day everyday?

Thats for damn sure,Not saying there subs arent any good, but also not saying there isnt better out there either
Yeah I feel you just wanted to see what people were going to say, But the LMS is a badass sub you gotta admit Handles 5K stock could give it 8k safe prolly.
-
lol, If you say anything is better than a BTL or DC you get Flamed FAST lmao!
You Think The BTL And The DC Is Better Than The LMS ULTRA???
Tell The Truth!!
-
If so get the RD's and quit Asking
I'm still deciding
-
walled maybe lol
Well why does RD have the loudest stock vehicle in the world in USACi? And no the 2 15's are not in a wall at 154
-
This guy just told me in his own words "looking at the t/s parameters, yes the rd sub will be louder than the btl And it will also be alot better for a daily application"
Is that true?
-
the btl is cheaper and better quality but if you want the best get a digital designs 950018 there so bad ass and you can put 4k to em no problem on daily even know rms is 15oo but they wake up a bunch with 4-5k on them only problem is you need like a month to break em in
That sound awesome but the RD handles up to 4000rms to

not
How much better is the btl than the RD Heavyweight? like what all is it missing. Because people keep telling me the RD is better for some reason. For instance this one guy told me to go with the RD because he has 2 15 inch RD Heavyweights in a tahoe hitting 154db @ 38hz. What do you think?
-
Acendant audio mayhem > rd IMO
So is the Rd Heavyweight better than the fully loaded btl or not?
-
whats the price ...?
Only 750 a piece! Is it better than a fully loaded BTL? I Plan on buying the 18 inch version (2 of them to be exact)
RD Audio Heavyweight (18 INCH)

Is this a good subwoofer overall?
-
6 is still a little big, maybe shave some inches off somewhere and make it 5.5 or 5.0? smaller is safer.
So hows 11 cubes after all displacements tuned to 34hz.???
-
i agree with everyone with the bass boost and also dont make an overly large box..8cu ft after displacment and 3500wrms do not mix..you be cool just use common sense...
So you guys are saying I can give it the whole 3500+rms but dont turn up the bass boost and I'll be fine?? becuase my subs are going to be getting a lil over 6 cubes a piece that is'nt too much for that much power is it???
-
Meade runs more than that to each of his 18s and he is pretty damn loud. Its mostly how its installed, dont boost at screwed up frequencies, dont abuse the sub, and you should be fine
Okay thanks
-
LoL you and your 'dB increases' - you may gain 4dB over running it at rated, you might gain 0. You might even lose dB, crazy as it sounds.
Your right about that. Hope I gain db's!!!
-
I've seen the new Sundown amp (3500d) and I plan on buying it but I need to know one thing before I do. Can a btl fully loaded handle 3500+ rms for long periods of time without blowing??? Also will I get a 3db increase since thats almost double the btls rated power or not????
-
No. You're assuming way too many gains. You might get it all built and only hit high 40's.
For example, we had a wall in a Street Max car, we doubled the power to the subwoofers and gained NOTHING.
You may be right but just like everyone says: "It depends on the install and we cant just determine how many db's we'll hit it's impossible, thats what termlabs and db competions are for". So I need to stop asking how much db I'll hit and get to work right guys???
-
you cant just guess what you'll hit
I Know, but people told be that walls are louder than just regular setups (Am I right??). So it has to be atleast another 2-4db increase making it 156db if it was going to hit 152-153b at 1st right???
-
this seems like a huge project. 156 is like 4x louder than 150 or some shit (what is it.. for every 3db its twice as loud?) make sure to take lots of pictures and vids
Ohh dont worry i will!!!
-
yeaah this aint going to hit higher then a 152 tops but it should get loud on the music
Well how much more db you think I'll hit walled then????
What about this battery?

Would you recommend five or sixe or would you get more because I'm running them all day everyday.
