I keep my eyes open when bumping through town....
But my fav to bump is Thug - Slimg Thug.....song is straight vicious in my ride.
I shut down a few young boys with that one.
BTW why is this in the video section?
-
500rms ............. those are the punch HX2s
so were mine and i ran them off of punch 800's no problem
-

-
i like the two tone paint, i wanna get mine done with the stock dark grey color on top and white on bottom. when i get the tie to have my a pillar pods sprayed im gonna start working on some door pods, what you did is just about what i had in mind. good job
-
Holy fuck could you send me some info on this
check your PM's
-
i thought u had a $300 budget?? you cant come up with $20 more??
-
YES YES YES i ran 3 12" HX2's for a long time mine were older than the ones in your pic mine were RFD1212. i ran 3 RF 800a2's one for each sub and they never failed me. i ran them sealed i just recently sold them to a buddy of mine and hes running them ported off of a Power Acoustik STAX 3000 something or other. they can take a beating.

so when i decided that i was no longer gonna stock Georgia Pacific vinyl siding anymore i cam across a company called RMC now called HOMEX and look what they brought me today.
damn Mossy Oak D5 dutch lap siding... how crazy is this. could you just imagine your neighbor putting this on there house?!? put some on your house out in the woods, you would have to have GPS cordinates or else you might never find the place. i dont have a picure of it but my rep had a brochure that showed this stuff on a building with a guy that had all mossy oak clothing on from head to toe and he blended right in. Cost for this.........$250 my stores cost per square (10pc @ 12'6" ea) sell for $330 sq...just to give you an idea i seel traditional D5 dutch lap for about $60 a sq normally. i just thought this was to crazy to keep to myself.

i used to be one of the people that didnt think it was THAT urgent. I didnt know HOW BAD it was till i got the new ones. I was a rolling death machine and i didnt even know it. Now i drive with TOO much confindence if there is a such a thing. They are all broken in, seated whatever you call it and work better then the first day! I love 'em to death!!
i drove an old 60's Pontiac once that i put a stereo in, he had 4's on it, HOLY CRAP i thought i was gonna wreck so many times. by the time i got the car home i was driving as slow as possible, i dont know how that guy drove that car. it had tiny stock drum brakes on it...thats when i realized how important brakes were with largers rims. i think the drums were smaller than the center of the rim, lol
-
good shit fellas.. BTW i really the the background pic of the Tahoe... not that the caddy wasnt good but i like the rustic look with the red calipers
-
one thing you have to account for is once you put a rim that large on your vehilce you really need to upgrade those brakes. steve didnt always have them big ass pads so im sure he could tell you the difference that it made. around here with all the young boys and the brothers sticking 4's and 6's under a $1000 crown vic, i havent seen a brake upgrade yet. pay now or pay later. basically what im getting at is if your gonna price them rims you might as well price out some bigger or better brakes.
-
i paid $4400 mounted and balanced out the door. It was such a good deal i had money left over to buy a spare, which is important IMO when riding on rubber bands. So all said and done i spent about $5,000 - and i got a free tire from Chicken so that saved me another $500
my rims can be gotten even cheaper then that now from what i hear. I didnt get the most expensive ones, i know that but i DID get the style i REALLY wanted and thats what is important. My "much cheaper then lexani" 26's get a little help from the Wilwood brakes which arent cheap at all so that makes up for it LOL!
All said and done, if someone wants exactly whats on my trucks feet, its probably gonna set you back $10,000......even with my generic rims.
dont know if this link will work but here they are for $3779.90 shipped from sacramento cali.

hmm, i really thought i would get some good feedback off of this post, well im on youtube now chekcing so if you can think of any let me know.

So i wanna put together a DVD so i can bump and have the monitors going at the same time. I have a bunch of videos already but i was hoping that some of you guys could post up youtube or whatever links that i can download the video from. i know they need to be converted but i just need the youtube link. i get on youtube and find some great ones and then it seems like after a few mins i cannot find a good video to save my life. i prefer actual music videos over someone just lets say showing a bunch of Jeezy pics to go along with a random jeezy song. also i would like the videos to be clear as well, some of the ones i come across are all "blocky" looking and that shit aint cool. anyway if you know some good ones post em up for me. for example i got a few good ones from skeetv on youtube, really nice video quaility and the sound aint bad either.
thanks

well that was easy enogh thanks
-
how to you get a quote in your sig, like from another members post?
-
I detail on the weekends and i buy my stuff from DETAILKING.com they have a lot of really great professional products. but some things are higher than hell on there. so watch out. but most of the soaps, scents, cleaners and things like that are priced well.
-
not bad for $10! dont feel bad that its a Sony...it is still an amplifier and it will still do its job just fine.
-
thanks for the reply. i figured people would just go for the biggest most expensive options, lol.

i am going to start saving for my rebuild but i am torn as to what i should get and how i should power it. i would love to do a 4 sub setup but most likely will only be 2. This is going in my suburban and will be built as a daily driver but i will make it to some shows. so help me decide, also tell my why you would choose what ever it is that you chose.
my thoughts are the IA with the AQ amps. lets hear it.
PA BAMF 5500...yeah i know
in Amplifiers

so i have a buddy that is that guy, that guy that asks for help on everything and always wants you to suggest this and that. im that guy that always falls for it even though i know he will never actually spend the money on good equipment. so since he is so set on spending pocket change on an amplifier, i figure he should at least buy the biggest one they make, the BAMF 5500 or the STAX, the SPL version (Gorilla) any of them they are all the same. what do you guys supposed the reall output of this thing could be at 2 ohms and 1 ohm. he also wants to run some 15" audiopipe axxpx i think thats what they are called, they claim 1000w rms.
