  1. thanks for that, i will check all of those. on another note, when i first encountered this issue i did move the H/U ground from the factory harness to a spot under the passenger carpet. also i moved the piece of 1/0 ground in the back from one of my hitch bolts that was ground down, it was sandwiched between the hitch and the frame, to a hole that i drilled and put a 1/2" bolt through. neither worked but i will move them again. and deff try disconecting the illumination.

  2. well the time has come, every great thing runs its course.....i have been contacted and will be signing on with Audiobahn.....they have a brand new lineup and as far as i can tell will be the next BIG thing, AGAIN. The 36" woofer has been redone and i will probably be running 2, maybe 4 of them in my tahoe.

anyway thanks RF and Fi for the years of great products and service. Audiobahn made me a deal i couldnt pass up. :friends:

    im sure

    Happy April fools day, fucktards........LOL

  3. i am really trying hard to come up with the money to get some new amps and i was thinking about 2 saz-2000, but what about the saz3500? i can get two 2000's for the same price as one 3500. im guessing i would come out ahead getting the two amps. what do you guys think? right now im running two 15's but before the year is out i want to go with 2 or 4 18's

  4. i want to build a new box for my 15's. my goal is 8cuft tuned to 37Hz. the maximun amount of space i have is

    24" H

    49.5" W

    27" D

i am going to do subs up port back, i have tried a couple of the box designs software online and for the most part they confuse me a bit. i was wondering if anyone here would be able to give me a hand designing a box. i would like the box to be the full 49.5" wide. these are ouside measurements and i will use 3/4"MDF

if anymore info is need just let me know what you might need.

    Thanks

scratch that. i would rather have the full 24" H so it lines up with the top of the seat.

  6. like everybody else said use common sense and you will be ok. also dont crank the pressure washer all the way up. spray everything down with a decent degreaser let it sit for a couple mins but dont let it dry, spray it off then wipe down whats left. dont spray the insulation on your hood it will fray and will leave water stains. its ok to get wet just dont directly spray it. my two cents.

  7. well there are two pots and one says "left gain" and the other "right gain"

and that exactly how i felt, the whole turn one a little and the other a little but whats the point of trying to be exact if i do that?/? im lost

i picked up an oscope and a power supply for $150 and now i can use them :( lol

  8. i searched and cannot find where any of the "setting you gain totourials" show how to set the amp if you are bridging. i will be using an o-scope to set my gains but how do i do it using a 2 channel amp. i have two gain controls. do i set each channel individually? do i hook the oscope up bridged? if so how do i get each gain to be equal? i read a couple threads on how to set the gains but i must be missing this part. i have always done it by ear with great success but now that i am running two alts and my input voltage is higher and more stable i want to make sure the subs are not clipping.
