Beefy....will that thing cost a 1,000$?
x2!!
-
So, are level 6s available yet?
To regular people? lol
-
They are very durable subs... if you ran your 3000s @ 1.33 each per three subs you would probably be fine. Use D2 coils to get this load.
Preciate the input. I'm guna run this past a few of the guys, and see what they hav to say about everything.
50s is a pretty reasonable guesstimate, with 6 of these bad boys right?
-
they will handle it just make sure you have the electrical to back it up
x2.
I was just assuming you had good electrical since u had 2 3500s already
-
My Saz 3000s are strapped at 1.4 daily, and I havnt had any problems, so I'd say yeah. Go for it
-
jake ran 4 off of 2 3500s
look at this
http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/4...sic-t29493.html
yeah, I saw this earlier. I'm still hopin to be in the 50s, so idk ab 4.. I may have to try my luck with 6.
If I had the money right now I'd do it, do it, I dare YouThis made me lol. I just may end up takin ur dare.. who knows
-
Yeah, I'm pretty easy with the knobs. I know when to cut it up/down. So that wouldnt be an issue. I'd just like to be reassured they wouldnt fry at my first comp with em. lol
-
Think they could handle ~1000w daily?
-
I'm currrently running 3 IA DP 18s, and thought about switchin up. I'm running 2 saz 3000s, and was wondering if that would be too much for 4-6 SA 12s daily/comp. Preferably 4 bc nobody around my town really runs 12s, and running only 4 and still doing 150s would make some people mad.. which i like.
-
He just didnt save enough welfare checks to get the lambo kit yet!! but Im sure in a few years he will have lambos on his shitstang!
Is it me or do all the wheels on them cars look idenical?
Easy dude. No need to talk shit...

22"s on a civic aint big. we have guys here eiding 24"s and 26"s on toyotas. and big rims were made famouse by CASH MONEY. no one can argue with that
Theres a guy with 4s on an accord. I'd say like a 98 maybe? Idk, but I gota see pics of a car the size of a civic with 6s. Shit aint happenin.
22's on a civic are big.....and kinda stupid really. Its not how big they are its whether they are right for the car they are on.....also i will argue with you on the cash money thing they didnt start anything except the WORD bling bling.
I agree with the comment ab the wheels big the right size for the car. I'm sure he does too, hes gone through 3 or 4 transmissions, and some overheating problems.

That is 1 sexy box good job with it guys.
x2. sorry if I missed it but wats goin in it?
-
x2 on the paint job. That's where my truck is now.
-
The civic also does high 40s out of the truck with 2 IA DP 12s and a hifonics colossus

I wnat to see pics
and hey some cars like the charger and the 300 look pretty damn good on 24s when donw proper it looks fucking mad crazy.
Here ya go. How about a civic on 22s. Town car on 26s and a few guys from their club, Top Knotch Car Club.
The purple civic is the blue one before it was painted blue

Wasn't it the south that started riding 20"+ they are the ones that ride 28's and 30's on 80's Box Chevys
Gold Knock off's Im sure is a Cali thing but 14" Gold Spokes with Vogues on a 80's Monte is clean or 22's (no spinners) on an 84 Monte is clean too IMO
I'd say the south is responsible for "donking" up cars. Some look nice, but most look horrible. If it's done right and you can tell the money was speent to make it right, it'll look straight, but when u can tell they got it done the cheapest way possible, it looks like shit.
My bo around here rides 22s on a civic, and it looks funny but kina cool IMO. i'll try and find a pic.
-
Oh man can we at least wait for some testing to come back before everyone jumps on the bandwagon.
x2, looks cool and all, but Id like to see some testing as well
-
what did you call and ask about and why? If you were askign about the Zs when they first came out they gave that answer to everyone except the big time dealers and competitors. I can call up right now and get great customer service. They are second to none in that department.
I called up there askin about the DD9500s. 3 18s. And they seemed to be givin me the "I can make 2 15s louder than 3 18s" bullshit. I mean, I wanted a price on the 18s. And I was guna get em. But after being transferred twice and having to tell a sob atory ab how a buddy blew his AQ 18 so we dont run em down here anymore, I didnt feel like they had the CS I was lookin for. That's my opinion & that's why I'm with Incriminator. To get back on topic though DD is probably the best woofer on the market, CS or not, it's hard to beat em. Decent prices too.
-
They are always very helpful to me... I guess they get a lot of tyre-kickers calling them and never following through.
I'm not knockin them in anyway, but I base who I do business with alot off of CS. that's one of the main reasons I'm with IA. I mean, if youre unwilling to talk about your product to someone inquiring, why would they do business with em?
-
Best woofer on the market IMO.. but I talked to a few guys there and they seemed like assholes.. so I'd say customer service is lacking.
-
Somebody cough my name? Lol
lol. yezzir. I knew you ran RD, a few different times right? And was triyin to get a lil input
-
I do have some history with RD, and if customer service is a deal breaker then you might want to keep your options open, I have dealt with Steve Miller personally and he's not the quickest on the draw when it comes to customer service.
preciate that one!
CS is a big deal imo
-
Hunter Warren is probably the guy your talking about with the 3HW15s in a mazda pick up and yes he was at world finals and yes he was a world champion. I have been playing with RD subs since 2007 I have played with the v1 and v2 subs in great depth from the sonance up to the SHW what information are you really looking for? I can tell you just about anything you want to know on the subs and customer service and steve miller if you want?
Basically, i'm wantin to know if they can take the abuse, they will be in a daily/SPL setup. In a 15 cube box, 150 sq in of port, tuned to 32 hz. Gettin the shit beat out of em almost everyday. I'd like to know how the customer service is, honestly. And if the alphas are a good line, and how they compare to the Death Penalty bc theyre kind of the same ratings (and thats wat im running now). Also, maybe ur opinion on either 3 of the alphas or 2 of the heavyweights. Btw, my poer is 2 saz3000s about to be 2 3500s.
OH SHAT SUNDOWNS DOIN IT AGAIN 153.2 45hz
in Sundown Audio - GREAT Amps/Subs! GREAT Customer Service!

Would you mind giving final dimensions on the wall??
I've been trying to put a flat wall of 3 18s in my explorer sport and it wouldnt fit, but after seeing this I think my measurements were a bit off...
