  1. wait......

    is this a old pic?

Or do you not have ground wires hooked up on your power input????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

    Picture325.jpg

yes this was during the install and waiting on tthe ground wire to come in lol and i will try to reverce the amps to see it still does it and i will go down on the gain a little aswell but it was set with a dmm ill let you know

  2. ok i have 2 rd audio 3250.1 strapped @ 2 ohms the slave amp almost always go into protect only the slave turn the ing off startr it back up its fine till i go full tilt again thought it was the rca but done changed them 4 times anyone?

    anyone?

  3. If your truely going for SPL and don't care about sound quailty then I rebuild your port and tune for around 45 or 50hz, your peak note will a little higher whatever you tune your box at. I seen a two db increase from tuning of 35hz to 58hz, but I am building a removable port so I can have both sql and spl.

    ok thanks

  4. ok i have 2 rd audio 3250.1 strapped @ 2 ohms the slave amp almost always go into protect only the slave turn the ing off startr it back up its fine till i go full tilt again thought it was the rca but done changed them 4 times anyone?

  5. well your tuned low so you wont hit nearly as high as you should say tuning to 38-42 hz and in a hatchback, which has been said a few times in another one of your posts, subs up port up is louder, to a few people.... including my self. 147.6 is a good score tuned at 32 hz but if you switched it to subs up port up, you would prob hit higher

thank for the help guys but i built the box to treos spec maybe i see a new box in my futher but this one does a nise hairtrick tho is there anything i can do to keep it from beating the shit out of my back bumper like maybe some mdf there or something couse 4 layers of dynamat is not helping any

  6. i have a 97ford probe gt hatchback with 2 18"treo ssx and 2 rd audio 3250.1 strapped @2ohms my best on a termlab was 147.6 my box is tuned to 32hz and is 10cubes 100sqin of port before any displacments this was my first time using a termlab i think my score should be higher oh its subs up port back the score was playing jeezy put on what could help me out and what kind of dbzzzzz should i be getting with this set up

  7. IMO i dont think you are gonna gain 7.5 dbs just by rewiring subs and unstrapping the amps. You may gain alittle becasue your impedence rise may not be as high. Can we get some more info on your setup? What type of vehicle box size and tuning?

its a 97 ford probe gt hatchback the box was built to treos specs i wens 10cubes before diplacments 100sqin of port and tuned to 32hz and i have a yellow top up front and 2 stinger 2150 in back and i know i need more i will get them later and i have a crx type box subs up port back and they are 2 18" treo ssx subs and 2 rd audio 3250.1 http://i361.photobucket.com/albums/oo51/fa...pg?t=1234489006

  8. Yes I think that you would be better off unstrapping the amps and just running one per sub. You will have less impedence rise per amp that way and they will make more power in the long run. If you have them wired at 2 ohms strapped they are more than likely not making the 2 ohm power. The impedence rise is probably over 4 ohms and is making close to half the power that the amps would make at 2 ohms. As far as the 147.5 with 2 18's, I personally think that it should be louder. I have 2 Sundown Nightshade 12's and a Sundown saz1500 per woofer and do a 149.7 on the dash sealed in my car. A lot of things could be playing a part of it not being as loud as you'd like. What kind of vehicle is it in? What kind of electrical do you have? What are the box specs? These are all things that would make a difference in why the score isn't a lot higher. With the equiptment that you have I don't see why you shouldn't be doing low 150's on music. I would say to check to make sure that one of the subs isn't wired out of phase cause that could have a lot to do with your score too.

thanks for your reply im going to unstrap them tommorrow and run one amp per sub but i had 2 12's aswell doing 149.4 and then tested the 18's today and was like wtf but it sounds twice asloud with the 18's just low scores and my hatch is comeing up like 3 inchs in the back but tried to hold it down the best we could but maybe after rewiring the sub and unstrapping the amps you think 155 is possable

  9. ok when i strap my amps and play a long bass note the slave amp goes in two protect why?

second ? is 147.5db bad on a termlab sealed up on music with 2 18" and 2 rd 3250.1

and would i be better off unstrapping the amps and just wire the subs to 1ohm and hook up 1 amp per sub they are strapped @2ohms now

  10. yeah it works, have my 2 sub amps running off a toggle switch and my mids/high amp off the decks remote

it gives you more control if say your driving to work in the morning and dont wanna have your subs going you can just turn them off

thanks uhoh im would like to do that so when you dont wont all the bass you can just turn um off

  11. ok im running three amps now and i have never done it before just one amp at a time but my queston is the remote wire on the deck is going to my exzisting amp in the back can i jump from that amp to anuther then from that amp to the last one with no issues any help please

  12. Is this for burps or daily? If it is for burps the 2 best batteries are Stinger 2150 or the nsb 90 or nsb g3100. Different ball game though if you are planing on going daily and you actually use your batteries. 4 batteries though I think would be better for daily as there are more batteries to spread the system draw around.

i would like to run 4 batterys but after building the new box i dont have room for 4 just 2 good ones so would the powermasters d3100's work

  13. IMO, as long as your box doesnt flex, it doesnt matter much if its on the box or an inch away, its getting shaken pretty hard either way. ive never personally seen an amp get shaken to pieces, i have seen one or two broken cuz they werent strapped down and the person went offroading or flying over speedhumps or something

never personally seen one shaken to pieces, and ive seen quite a few "delicate" amps strapped directly to some nuts boxes...like a jbl a6000 screwed right onto a box with 6 15's, and no problems

i dbl everything the box is a 1 1/2 all the way around and 16" tall i dont think it will flex much
