2 saz 3000's or 2 rd 3250.1 i like both but dont know whitch one would be better what do you think and what one will do .5ohm better
-
Looks like you figured it out ...you could mark the red with a sharpie ......
i asked the oringal owner about this and he did not know anything he said he was no happy with the output :01nocomment8so: HMMM wonder why lol out of phise = little output thanks for everyones help and really good input and the battery ideal thumbs up

hook up some speaker wire to the terminal, and then touch pos to the pos on batt and neg to neg on batt, i assume thats what they are talking about, and see if the sub jumps alittle bit..
ok tested all 4 coils on 3 coils i touched the + and - ont batt to the + and - the cone moved up on the one coil in ? touched the + and - and the cone moved down so i touched the + to the - side of the batt and +side of to the - wire and it went up like the rest did so i guess on that coil i need to remember whats what on it lol

Looks like the terminals are backwards ....unless the tensils are crossed ...you need to wire that coil +to - and - to +
that what i was thinking but how do you check it with the 1.5volt battery?
-
Use a 1.5v battery and some little bits of wire to find out the polarity of the coils. It looks/sounds like they might be backwards on the second sub.
EDIT: Try touching the leads on your DMM together and hold it for 30 seconds to allow the reading to settle. It's possible you have some resistance in your leads that is giving you a funny reading.
how do i do the batt 1.5 volt + and - plus side of batt to sub + and - side of batt to - on the sub and what do i look for
-
on the sub in pic2 if i go red to red and black to black it wont play but i can go red black and red and blck and it plays good i bought them used so do you think that previse owner swaped them for some reason and maybe this is the reason for the ohm's reading being wrong
and with a dmm can i go from one coil to the other red to one side and red on the other and if it dont work switch one side to the black and if i get 2ohms will that tell me that the po swapped them for some odd reason
-
Most DMM's suck at reading below like 5 ohms anyway, so unless you own a Fluke I wouldn't worry about it.
it was a fluke 87

those treos have a 4" coil.
you'll be fine with a 3000D on each as long as the signal isnt clipped.
ok thanks can you help on the port area

second queston on treos website it say 4cubes net apiece so i am building my box to treo's specs and it says 100sqin of port (seems small) do i need to do more say 125 or 150 i dunno plp tell me that more port area =louder and how deep do i make my port to get 31hz tunning treo says 21.5" and the box im building is 10 cubes gross so after dissplacments puts me around 8cubes plz help me so i can build my box heres a pic of one sub http://www.caraudio.com/forum/attachment.p...mp;d=1229308589
