  1. give me a call I can hook you up..... I am about to build 2 more (one for air ride and one for some company that makes playgrounds) I can build 3 at a time LOL

I cant wait to see this build...... I so wanta air out my impala

Yeah, um I wish I remotely had enough for one... Still in and paying for college... Only thing I could see to make that machine any better would be for it to have a built in tube bender...

Talk about an all-in-one setup for a rollcage manufacturer...

This will be a site to see when the hoe gets done, oh wait, it will never be DONE, just finished with that last project....

  2. cool shit bro

I am supose to be building a TPC (tube process center) for ride tech (owners of air ride tech). I have tube samples in the shop that they sent up to cut. I hope to get to do the install of the machine when they get it. I was workin on one today that is goin out west

this is what we are buildin for them

    youtube video

    I want one of those.

  3. Where the transmission hump starts on the drivers side look strait up under the dash, it looks like a silver box on a bracket that does a funny bend. the bracket is held in by 2 7mm screws and the box has a stud sticking out of it in the middle sticking down with a 7mm or 10mm nut on it. the wires your looking for are on the top of this unit, thats where you lose it in the dash. It sounded like you found it when you said you unplugged two plugs and lost all settings. The wires you unplugged for that are just for the tape deck / eq, and for the controller on the instrument cluster. There are 2 to 4 other plugs under there going into that silver box that you pull up to the tape deck slot for the adapter. I do REALLY suggest to get that in case you want to restore this truck or sell it because it makes everyone's lives easier.

  4. GMT400.com Forum

Nice little forum dedicated to GM's OBS (88-99) Trucks, Tahoes, and Suburbans. Its still very new, but it'll be a one stop place for all things related to these vehicles. They're wanting just about any write up on these trucks so bring a build log over there too.

It was pretty much a hardcore group of guys and gals from GMFullSize that wanted a nice little forum dedicated to the OBS. Everyone over there is really helpful and a bunch of knowledgeable guys are ready to help.

I'm just trying to pass along a nice little resource that I stumbled upon to help you guys out. :friends:

That hurt to type, but you understand what I mean... I guess I just expect too much from people on the internet...

    I needed to vent.

Edit: Its not just here either, its all over the place, like someone turned up the lazy all of a sudden... Ill just do like everyone else and blame it on twitter...

  6. Is it just me or does it seem like more and more people are typing in gibberish that you normally would expect from a 12 year old that just got a cell phone?

No punctuation, enormous run ons, or messages that have very few words in them and spamming a thread with all this?

I know I'm not perfect and have probably typed my share of typos but it seems to be happening more and more recently.

Sorry to rant but its almost to the point of being obnoxious, especially when someone asks for help, but not taking the time to type out their question or supporting information. When this happens It says to me "I want you to do everything for me, I don't want to learn how to do it myself."

Again sorry if I'm the only one who thinks this, but its just been bugging me lately.

  7. Hey I wanted to stack my amps (saz 2000) 3 high. It seems that the only size all-thread that fits in the screw holes is the #10 bolts. But these seem way to flimsy. Is there a better way to do it? I wanted something like this. http://www.sundownaudio.com/index.php/ride...hannon-lee.html Any ideas will help. Wanna do this tomorrow.

It looked like they used allthread and some pipe as spacers and to add a little stability to it too.
