Well, you can always cut the lenght of the port until you find the way it sound better to your ears!!
o ok i think where gonna tune it to 43-42hz now just so i can get on the lower end cuz im all about slowed down and decaf music lol

yeah, 35 hz is way to low for a 4th order, 45 hz should do the trick

2:1 ratio should give you a big ass flat respond, 1 cubic feet the sealed chamber and 2 cubic feet the ported one, if you are looking to hit the lows i would tune @ 45 hz and with 36 SQ of port , that should sound very nice

Not sure what you mean by deeper. 4th order's done right will give you a fairly flat response and have better output @ lower frequency's.
deeper as in lows being louder or something like that lol my friend is building it. He knows exactly what he is doing he said it should be louder on the lows but i wanted second opionions

sup guys well ether today or tomorrow we will be doing a custom 4th order enclosure build for a single type r 12'. The box i have now is a regular l ported with no 45s in it. I was wondering if it would make a huge difference ?? would the lows sound deeper or what. Wr will be tunning it to 29-30hz so i can listen to decaf all i want haha

actually the camera i was using was a flip hd lol but ya when i render it under wmv it takes 3 hours most of the time but then when i upload it to youtube it would take like 10min to upload if i save it under mp4 it would render fast but then i get erros on the uploader lol -

So there was a car show and sound competition on Saturday that was supposed to be pretty good. Big turnout and alot of nice rides. The promoters fucked up and didn't bring the TL mic, so no sound comp. Anyway, heres a few system pics.

I know... my box is actually designed for the 1500 and under series.. didn't know that at the time. Right now PWk is designing me a box and i have a 3000 watt amp coming... It should be alright

Sup guys i know the x meter is 3-6dbs off(this is the only meter thats in town lol ) but according to this one i hit 140 so off the tl the lowest i could be would prob be 134db off 45hz tell me wut ya all think ! and this time I have a vid ! haah and look at mikeys huummer hittin 170 on the meter which is really 164 !
