  1. i have the flowmaster 50 series suv on my 00 jimmy, it does make alittle difference but i would go with the 40 series if i had to buy it again. i got it from summit racing, they have the cheapest muffflers. it ended up being 160 for everything. 100 for the muffler and 60 to get it put on. i would go with muffler with no cat, so you can notice the difference.

removing the cat is a waste of time and not worth the hassle when trying to get inspected.

  2. If its 4x4 id leave the front alone. You put the shackles in the rear. its how the leaf springs attach to the frame in the rear portion of the spring. You can get some for 1.5 lift. will run about 50 bucks. imo easier to swap than adding leaves etc.

Also in stock setup you cant use blocks to raise the rear. the axle is over the leaf, blocks only lower. To raise with blocks the axle would have to be swapped to under the leaf.

Also you could just the front torsion bars down to level it out, that would be free and only requires turning bolts.

  3. Actually they're rated 200watts x 2 @ 2ohm on paper but will do more like 275watts x 2 @ 2ohm. The sax-100.2 is very under-rated.

So if my voltage is up close to 14.x or somewhat close I can expect roughly that amount give or take? or will it push that closer to 16v?

I wonder how well my RSD's will take 100-150 or however many watts I actually end up producing. They are only rated at 60ish rms. O well, Im sure they are gonna come alive.

  4. I have been searching on tons of scion forums to get ideas of how to set my shit up but there isnt much on the various forums. Most of the sections are just littered with massive bullshit and the same question over and over. If anyone has ever seen any nice setups Id love to see them.

I am going to be running 2 12 FI subs and a saz3000. I have a few ideas of how to set it up, but I was looking for more ideas. I want it to sound good first then look good second.

So if you guys have seen anything lemme know. Thanks.

  5. 22s would be sick.. . maybe do some 26s so they could match our rim size lol

Or make the rims/tires your enclosure and have subs inverted like old school wire wheel hubcaps, the http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/hairtrick.gif will keep you inflated.

Yea thats probably the most retarded thing I ever said http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/01nocomment8so.gif

  6. if she want's to lose fat she should just diet properly and exercise. if she exercises early, eats high carb breakfast (oatmeal + fruit + juice) and tapers off her carb intake by eating 5 additional small meals with decreasing carb intake and no carbs after 6pm she should be fine. an additional workout in the afternoon/evening wouldn't hurt. if she starves herself her bodyfat will rise and her muscle will deplete itself, making her look baggy and unhealthy. she's better off toning that 125 down to 117 or w/e rather than staving off ten pounds. if she just wants to starve herself she should just jump on the meth diet, i hear it works really well lol.

I did the same thing and went from 257 to 191 and got kinda built. I only lifted weights and practically never did any 1 hour cardio marathons.

Get her to lift weights and follow a good diet. You will thank yourself later when she is super smoking hot... and no lifting weights wont make her bulky and manly, women do not have enough testosterone to get big naturally.

  7. as far as support goes you're not going to find a harder working, more accessible guy in the industry than jacob! (point/case he's replying in your thread) :D

I did notice he is all over threads about his product. Thats a good thing though.

  8. The 3000 seems like a good idea, due to the fact I can change the sub configuration later if I want too and get more power with the same amp. So if I get the dual 2 ohm subs, I can run the 3000 at 2 ohms for 1600watts. I think that would work best bang for the dollar as opposed to getting 2 amps. Can you pm me a price on the 100.4 and the 3000? Thanks

Or could I run the 2 subs at 1 ohm for 3000 watts. I know the subs are rated for 1000 each. I know steve runs his like 2-3000 over the rated rms. So I figure with everything setup properly plus the imp rise the extra 500 per sub would probably be a little less and work fine no?

  9. Alright. 2 runs it is then. 300a alt and some batts. Due to money, i may do enough batts on the first part just for the first part, then when stage two comes i may finish it. Im only 20 and the next3-5 months ill be taking classes at acoustic edge, and thas m-f 9-5, so i wont be able to work, which blows. Hopefully ill have a nice sized tax return, should be enough to get half of the shyt i need (speakers and amp wise). Is there a brand of HO alt anyone can reccomend. The vehicle this is going in is a 2000 chevy blazer with the 4.3L V6

For the begining you can use a stock alternator from a larger truck, 140amps as a starter since you dont have much money. If you search on some blazer sites, there are stickies in the electrical and stereo sections. I know offhand the 2002 escalade has that as an option, 140 alt. It is a direct bolt in and it plugs right in. No cutting required.
