You have daytime running lamps? If you do, does it use the "other bulbs" ?
none of my head lights run during the day
-
This is what I was basically trying to say in my previous post lol I seen those plug n play kits on ebay for like $100
I found this on ebay for roughly $77. Does yours look anything like this?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HID-9006-HB...sQ5fAccessories
The thing is with my Impala, it has day running lights. Not sure if the HID's turn on during the day because if they do, they'll burn out faster.
yeah they look like that some what and the dont run during the day they turn on when i turn the lights on at night
-
Was it just a plug-and-play or did you have to cut wires? My brother got a 10k setup for his Integra that was p-n-p: He pulled the old bulbs out, put the new ones in, mounted the ballasts and plugged the assembly into the original bulb plug. Looked really nice but IDK what he paid for them.
i had to do a ground and hook a wire up to the battery but the wires already had the rings on the end and i had to plug the light up to a box
-
looks like a denali, do you have the projector lights
yeah its the denali but its falling apart
what do you mean by projector lights?
-
Cool man. Does it seem difficult to hook up? Is it just the box thing and the lights or is it the whole headlamp?
it was real easy to hook up in my car it comes with intructions and everything you need to put them in took me about 30 mins and a lot of the time i was just talking with a buddy of mine helping

12k dude that purple
they are definently bluer than purple the box said 12k and light purple but in the brosher it showed the 12k to be blue and they are blue
will have pictures up in a 10 mins
-

-
i have mine ran off of relays just to be easy on the car wireing just to be safe. they r suppose to draw less current but if u payed 65 for them u might thin about it. better safe than sorry. if your wondering.
pin 85. chassis ground
pin 86. factory headlight power wire
pin 87. batt
pin 30. hid power into the transformer
yeah they came with everything to install them including the relays and that shit
65 seemed like a good price to me but uf you think that was to much let me know

-
do you think the areo ports would be better than a regular port?
-
12 cubic feet net and four 6 inch aero ports. Subs up ports back.
you think that would be enough to do a hair trick?
-
well it looks like my subs arent gonna sell for a while so i have decided to build a new box for them
i really wanna be able to do a hair trick :hairtrick: so i was wondering if yall could help me design a sick box for them
i have a 2003 yukon denali xl so with the 3rd row out so i have plenty of space
i currently have a small mini wall for them and it is tuned to 44 hz and with this new box i want a fat port and wanna be able to hit the lows well
here is a sheet on my subs
thanks in advance
