  1. what do you guys mean "that sucks" thats fucking awesome that you had a good alarm to scare them off. sure its not fun replacing the handle but think of all the money that alarm just saved you. good shit :good:

lol its just kinda funny, in the threads where some one gets the system stolen people say "that sucks, you should have had an alarm" now in a thread where the alarm was effective they still say "that sucks". seems ironic to me.

oh on the piezo's, dont put 4 on the outside. you could actually get a ticket for the alarm being too loud. put a bunch inside the car so it will make the fucker's ears bleed. i have 5 inside mine. 2 are places where your head would have to be to find the brain.

It sucks because I need a new door handle and door lock. But I am thankful they didn't break a window or steal the 2 amps I had in my car. The Compustar pro is the best car alarm out there in my opinion. I love it.

thats pretty much it. I didnt use the piezos. I didnt think they were obnoxious enough. I just did normal sirens and pointed them down so the sound reflected. Its honestly pain ful to sit inside. I tried it I bailed . It made my ears ring like crazy.

Yeah I will probably cover the inside of my car with them, and just add one more on the outside (since skittles said you could get a ticket for your car alarm being to loud.) I would love it to be where they couldn't even stick there head in my car with out bringing some unbearable pain to there ears.

  2. ok, im going to sound like a complete noob who knows nothing and is a no life nobody, but I didn't think you could strap amps at 1 ohm.. though it was only 2.. Fudge i ask some noob questions sometimes...

It is good to ask questions, that is how you learn. I have seen 2 sundown 3ks strapped at .5 ohms so each amp was seeing .25. I have also seen two of the new crossfire 1700's strapped at .25 so each amp was seeing .125 ohms. As long as you dont take the ohm load below what the amp is capable of taking then you are good to go. Most bigger amps do not like below .35, smaller amps will go lower.
