Unhook the wires from the woofers and connect them again, probably a bad connection
-
Raf i believe are for the rear fill which means the 2 back door speakers.
I do have some connected in the back doors but i disabled them thinking that was the problem but it wasnt. My fronts which are my diamonds are hooked up to the woofer slots and my 2 back speakers are hooked up to the raf.
anything coming out of the rear ones?
-
Yeah my connections are right im starting to think that i should try switching my amp to another one but only if you guys can guarantee me that putting dynamat on the doors instead of stock like i have it will not change my problem. I only want the mids to be very loud in voice i could care less if they can hit those 80hz notes.
look at your crossover and take your woofer connections off of RAF, trust me that's the "problem". I have Diamond Components and what you are describing is exactly what happens when you hook up to the RAF instead of woofer
-
this might sound stupid, but did you check your connections and are you sure you aren't using the RAF instead of the woofer output on the crossover?

how about a real alternator and some not wetcell batteries ?
My stock alt is 150A and it takes 6 hours to swap one out, so I am not replacing it til I have to
-
How many of you saw hot MILF and clicked on it? I know I did lol

lolz, jk. I've done a lot of trading and buying from Michael over the years, never gives me the short end of the deal real good guy

Check each battery seperate, maybe you have a dead cell.
Both batts read the same right now, 11.82
-
As long as its above 12.6v, your batts should still be charging up.
That's the thing, when I go to start my car, voltage has dropped usually to 11.76 recently so it doesn't want to start
-
if the back battery is connected to the alternator or the front batt, then they will both charge, just like from the alternator.
But I wouldnt leave wet cell batteries charge unattended. Maybe have a small battery maintainer but they are really only for when the car is parked a long time.
Do you only drive the car on weekends? If its a daily driver, there is no need to do this.
No, I drive it every day, but I always play my system full tilt when I drive it, and sometimes even when its off. My voltage at idle used to be 14.6, and now its 12.9 so I need something done I think
-
I use an AGM smart charger because I use XS power AGM batteries. Works fine for 10 batteries, they are all connected in parallel anyway.
So it depends on your batteries.
I have two wet cell batteries from batteries plus, and one is under the hood other is behind my seat. so would i just need to put the charger on one and it will charge the other?
-
i charge them while still hooked up in my car...as long as your car is off... i dont see any problems it can cause... on a trickle for approx 6 hours every once in a while...
Okay cool. What kind of charger do you have?
-
you can charge with them in car still hooked up. But you wouldnt want to charge them 24/7, they will overcharge.
Do you have a trickle charger or smart charger?
Don't have one yet, I'm not sure what kind to get with a multiple battery setup. If I can get one with multiple outputs that would be nice, but don't have any knowledge on chargers
-
So I have two batteries and I would like to keep them constantly charged, but my question is do I need to remove them from my car when I charge them and if not do I at least need to unhook my wires or is it safe to charge with everything hooked up?
