Here is the parameters of the btl 18 that FI has on their website. Can anyone tell me what the options were on this sub that was tested for parameters (cooling? high xmax coil ect?). Thinking about buying two and doing a T-Line. Whatever options are on this sub is perfect for the application I want to use it in.

yea i agree about the glue, just throwin some names around.
gorilla glue expands when it dries, so i wouldnt use it at all, fyi

i've ran both kicker and hifonics and i would never buy another hifonics amp again, big paper weight in my opinion (i have one up stair in that mode right now)
kicker>hifonics

Looking to build a new setup in a blazer. Looking to compete in bass race in 2010 and just have a loud vehicle in general
What would be louder on 4000wrms
2 btl 18s-the btl has a higher sensitivity
4 Q 15s--Qs have more cone area but way less effiecent
-
you could run .5 ohm (with a 1ohm stable amp) if there was enough box rise
-
when is the sa-15 "projected" to be released?
-
sounds like a good idea. I've been to car club events like this before and was a blast. The only thing i would be worried about would be vandalizem (sp?) of the cars and break in's. But sounds like it would be a good event
---btw i noticed you were from the 614 where @. I'm right next to the 614 (in the 740)
-
so you guys think that the extra cone area will conteract having half the power. And i assume their would be alot more gain in that theres less cabin to pressurize....?

This guy on Craigslist is offering to trade his Jensen VM9511TS flip out touch screen deck and his xbox 360 + games/controllers for a ps3. Me having a ps3 that I play very seldom, I'm considering this.
This is a link to the deck

and a link to the ad.

does anyone think this is worth doing?

normal box for it if its a daily driver.
if its not then clamshell.
the weight of the clam will make your blazer a turd.
haha at quote ^^^ Clams are sick though bro and 8 15's... id love to see that. making your blazer a turd lol is no prob your gonna be cruisin down the block slammin anyway right?Im not worried about it being any slower, its already slow as piss to me. I sold my lightning and bought this to do a build (2 8's in my L werent cuttin it lol)

my lil brotha showed me dis subs and man pretty impresive
www.incriminatoraudio.com
1. Literacy. Type/spell correctly, I'm sure no one want to reeed lik dis.
2. IA subs are badass.

8-15's would defenatly move more air
thanks, your builds are always SICK! :hairtrick:
300 alts...wow!!...lol..j/ki would say 8 woofers...cone area ftw!
haha didnt catch how that was worded. fixed it
-
First of the vehicle is a 99 blazer
no alts yet but a 300amp will be ordered
What would be better a "normal" box with 4 15s on 3500-4000wrms around 16-20 cubes (if i have enough space) or a basically smaller version of the caddy build 8 15s 45-50 cubes with 2500wrms
Guys that rock walls/clamshells daily i need some help, what do you think would be louder, mover more air, and be a overall better system.

location? rms?

This would mean L7's are better suited for sealed setups... interesting... I didn't know that.
theres videos of a s10 with 4 15 L7s sealed called "steel city sounds" on realm of excurison, and that thing is nuts :hairtrick:

just read up top.
You should connect the amp power to the battery in the back, not to the alt up front.
i suggested to run a wire off the alt to the other batteries in the back. to have mulit runs of power wire
Straight alt to amp

I understand this (i assumed that you could make the line anything ABOVE Fs. I was wrong)
Ok again i was wrong about the Fs. And now remeasuring everything it will have to be 2 15s. I need help know what the parameters will be given certain "options". If you cant help with this your are you cluttering my thread? And it was 1 4500 for 2 subs not 1 Kthxbye
Thanks for the help, and now knowing that I cant tune above Fs I only have room for 2 15s. But again this is temp, just before i build my wall
