  1. ok heres my optrions i can run in amature street class 1 max out at 550 - 1 fuse only amature street class 2 max out at 1000- 2 fuses only my woofer cone surface area is 78.53982 / 10" fi bl sub if i do street 1, i can do a 40 amp fuse = 40x10+78 = 478, if i do street 2, i can do one 80 amp fuse 80x10+78 = 878, i was told i cant mix and match fuses to get a higher number fuse total.. so all i can do is a 80 maxx, i guess,.. what do you think i should do?
  2. well i can use 1 or 2 thats it i just noticed the glass fuses break on the solder point inside easy, before they ever break in the center
  3. well for a contest ima have to lower what i normaly use and i didnt know what is better and not blow as fast.
  4. god bless tums, gotta love that heart burn, and acid coming up in the throat
  5. anl or agl what fuse style is made better and will not blow ?
  6. dont forget if your like me and have to work almost everyday, make sure you drink some Orange juice before bed, to help, so when you you wake up you dont feel like you got your ass kicked and someone took a brick to your head,.. lol even when you feel like shit you'll look back and say them were the good'o days,
  7. long island teas, dont make me drunk feeling more so just wild, & stinky petes & liquid cocaines rock & down home punch,
  8. ok let me be sure and wrap this up so i can do some ordering just use to 40 amps & 2 agu fuse holded in line next to the amp.. RIGHT ?
  9. so i can run them inline BUT them both have to be the same ?
  10. i cant use a 100 amp because ill will go over the max limit for runing in amature street class 2,
  11. ok question would it be better for max power deliverly to use just 2 agu fuse holders in line ? VS divided them up with blocks and what not?
  12. well i dont know what that is to search for it, but what can i do to avoid buying to single agu fuse holders, and do like you and have a block style one,
  13. o,... now i see how come some of these rules are the way they are lots of loop holes,.. so i should be great with a 40 & a 50, in one line. ?
  14. i dont get what that means, Power wire > =====(--50--)===(--40--)===== > into amp I cant do this ?
  15. well i need to run a 90 amp fuse, but i dont think anyone makes them so i will run a 40 & 50 amp, inline my power wire,.. will i still have strength or will they pop easy because there divided up, they will be just inches apart, to conpete in amanture street 2. staying under 1000. on a 10" woofer
  16. ok so to make sure i can run 2 different size fuses and = 90 amps, but ill have my main power wire go into fuse holder #1 with 1-50 amp, and then 4 inches of new wire leading into fuse holder #2, with a 40 amp in it,, exiting out with a few extra inches into the amp?
  17. o shit i think i tottaly mis read your messages wrong, I have to do this, tell me this is right.. 78.53982 = 1 -10" subwoofer thats what meca says a round 10" is. 90 amp fuse x 10 = 900 + 78.53982 = 978.53982 ? 978 out of a max of 1000 allowed in as2 class
  18. id pop it fast, for sure,, that would put me at 876 = as-2 class, maxx is 1000 id like to do as2, but it says i can use 2 fuses if i use 1-50 x 10 + 476 = 976, just under the 1000 limit for as-2 but i can use 2 fuses, so does that mean i can run 2 fuses holders inline next to the amp both with 50 amp fuses in them ?
  19. But based on what you told me a 80 amp will give me a total of 1276, max for as-2 is 1000 so i can use 2 fuses and need to stay under 1000.
  20. If i use a 50 amp AGU, ill be at 976, max for as-2 is 1000. but as-2 allows 2 fuses? do i have a 50 up front and 50 in the back, or keep the org 200 thats up front, and have 2-50's going into the amp..
  21. O... see now im getting it, however, a 40 will put me at 476.66, in A-S-1, and ill pop that fast now as-2, allows 2 fuses, what does that allow me to do from there, somehow i need atleast to use 100, or somewhere close is there some trick i can do to use the max about of fuses and not go over 1000, because a 100 amp fuse will put me at 1076.66, how can i go lower?
  22. so i can use what ever i want up front, as for fuse size. and in the back i need to fuse it, why would i use a 40.? having the fuse close to my amp change the possability of blowing different rated fuse as i would up front? because ill pop 60s up front all day..
  23. ok so what about the Fuse i have up front what do i do about that, ? what do you mean get a fuse holder and roll the volume,
