For 300 a sub, go with dc or something with a good quality. SA-15's should be cheaper than those, or around the same price.
well on 2 of these and the hifonics colossus amd i did 148db
-

* 600W RMS x 2 @ 4 Ohms
* 1100W RMS x 2 @ 2 Ohms
* 1600W RMS x 2 @ 1 Ohm
* 2200W RMS x 1 [bridged] @ 4 Ohms
* 3200W RMS x 1 [bridged] @ 2 Ohms
let me guess, your subs are D4.. and you wired them down to 1 ohm correct?

Hey guy's i just want to know what is the best sub out there?
-
What do ya'll think about treo subwoofers
-
I kind of want it too about 60hz.
Sorry aging but it is 5.7ft3 is the box my bad.
-
well honestly we can tell you how to get to your desired goal as far as spl (db's) but if you want to tell us what you want to tune it to that we can work out
I kind of want it too about 60hz.
-
1 sub or 2?
152dB dbdrag legal is gonna be a big effort like that. If you have 1 sub your box is too big, if you have 2 subs you don't have enough port area...
I have 2 sub's and you don't think that 2 6" port's are not enough. how come?
-
what subs, what amps, how much power, how big is the box and what size are the subs
There are hifonics olympus 15" with a Hifonics XXV-COLOSSUS
Ultra Class D MonoBlock / 2-Channel Hybrid Amplifier with Bass Remote With 3200rms at 1 ohm. the box is 5.4 ft3 the pors are to the back of my 1991 chevy s-10 blazer. sorry about that guy's.
-
Can anyone one help me on tuning hz should be for comp.? I have 2 6" round ports and i till need to tune them so i can make 152 db.
-
I want something like this.
file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Nathan/My%20Documents/My%20Pictures/box%20pic.bmp
That is the top view; and i checked my space in my blazer and it is 33" depth/ 37" wide/ and 16" tall. but i want to leave about 7" on the side for my spare. so about 30" wide. And if the pic dose not work it's like the box that steven mead for that explorer on the built page, but with 2 port's. and yes you are clearing some stuff up for me. See i know alot about sub's amp's and wiring, but not to much with boxes.
Ok i read more about the vented box design in the book and it said that the box volume are internal and already include subwoofer and port displacement. BOX VOLUME 3.5 CUBIC FEET
FB 50 HZ
PORT (HEIGHT) 15.5"
PORT (WIDTH) 3.5"
PORT (LENGTH 18"
F3 40 HZ
But what is better lower Hz or higher Hz?
-
Your pic dont work
Did you go and check out the build that he mead on the builds page? on his website this just like that but with two ports.
